Queensryche, Dream Theater, & Fates Warning

Tell ya what, if you like Rock shows that sound raw and sloppy, then this concert sure as Hell isn't for you.

Queensryche is one of the best sounding live bands that I've ever seen.

And Dream Theater is one of the greatest bands ever, PERIOD. Scenes From A Memory still remains in my Top 10 All-Time list, for both metal AND all music (although 7 of the 10 albums ARE metal, but hey).

i was a huge queensryche fan back in the 80's but after operation:mindcrime i lost all interest in them. empire was overblown pomp. everything else was forgettable excpet for the radio friendly "the bridge". Rage For order still remains one of my favorite albums though.

as for the other two bands, i have never been a fan of either. technically, they may be great musicians but i find little substance or soul in their work.

Holmdel is only six hours for me... should be a nice drive. Now I must find someone to go with me... that's normally the tough part
