Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted April 2, 2003 That's the 90-something word title by the chick who sang "Criminal". I guess she was just (again) following in Alanis Morisette's footsteps by trying to be all worldly and stuff. You're referring Fiona Apple's When the Pawn, full name title... *DEEP BREATH* When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might So When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and if You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and if You Fall It Won't Matter, 'Cuz You'll Know That You're Right *DEEP BREATH* Nothing like using a full song as an album title. Yeah, I hate the title, too.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted April 2, 2003 But anyway, bad album title "When the prawn blah blah blah etc..."... that one. It serves absolutely no purpose to have an epistle as the name of your record, other than being gimmicky. That's the 90-something word title by the chick who sang "Criminal". I guess she was just (again) following in Alanis Morisette's footsteps by trying to be all worldly and stuff. Being as how they sound nothing alike, I can see why you made the comparison. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 6, 2003 good charlotte "the young and the hopeless" Actually that title wouldn't be that bad if a real punk band used it.

Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted April 6, 2003 Chicago sucks enough on their own...but they got lazy and just started giving their albums numbers. Chicago 10 Chicago 21 and so on Don't mess with early Chicago, my friend. Likewise, Chase. And the creativity wasn't in the title name, it was how they incorporated the name into the artwork. However I will conceded that Chicago sucked towards the end.
