The roster is packed, but Eddy can bring so much, its worth adding him. I'm not so bothered about Rey. I'd rather see Helms or Knoble pushed.

If and I mean *if* the WWF was ever going to push a Junior division, Rey Jr. would be a way to at least firmiliarize people with the division.  WWF fans don't give a two shits about the Junior guys because they haven't been allowed to experience them.

 

In adding Rey Jr. you instantly get name recognition, creditability, and even for the most die hard WWF fan, at least a person they have heard tales of.  This *should* have been the same case for Kidman when he first entered but that whole "heel" thing didn't work out.  Rey is also the ultimate babyface so even if he is not initially over, it would do some good.

 

I would much rather see Jamie Noble get pushed, but there is zippy chance of that happening so if Rey is actually allowed to work something neat and have someone in their to carry him or just work well with him (Helms w/o that ridiculous gimmick, even Kidman), it would work.

 

As for the Rey Jr v Tajiri feud to kick start the new division, I don't see that as the best option simply because Tajiri is not in a great position to guide Rey Jr through a match.  Tajiri needs someone in there to help him with come to a terrific match or else it will be the Christopher Daniels method of matches "spot to spot to spot to spot" which is fun the first couple og times but wears down in time without there being any substance.

I'd love to see these two into the WWF, without a shadow of a doubt. Rey is one of my favorite wrestlers of recent time, and I hope to see a cruiserwieght push. Meh, I won't count on it though.

Tim, check out some of Daniel's Canadian work, it's pretty good. It's more than just spot-to-spot.

 

I'm not saying that it's the greatest of ideas, but Tajiri was over and Rey definately will be so it's a good idea to build the casual fans' interest.

Eddie I think is great. Rey I'm not too gone on. Vince doesn't give a monkeys about cruisers so any division will end up dead in the water in a couple of months
