Guest Mole Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I know Goldberg isn't that great of a wrestler, but I still marked out when he came back. Whose with me on this?
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I liked Goldberg even when he was in WCW. It was a great mark-out moment seeing him in WWE TV.
Guest Downhome Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I will be a fan of his forever, I'm more than likely the biggest mark for him here.

Guest NoCalMike Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Well it remains to be seen what kind of impact he will have. He won't make the main event matches any better in terms of workrate, however he might bring some viewers and ratings smidges back. Who knows!?!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I liked Goldberg in WCW (though I do have issues with him as a worker) - I didn't mark out as much as I thought I would last night (actually, I barely did at all) - but I have marked out for him in the past (his return from injury in particular) and can see myself doing it again.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 My monkey now pisses on Goldberg. Goldberg is the only wrestler I hate more than HHH.
cawthon777 Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Goldberg = tard. He's like the kid with down syndrome on that old ABC show 'Life Goes On' (let's see if anyone remembers that ... I doubt it). If he can put guys over, then yeah - I'm all for it. If he's just going to come in and further bury guys who deserve elevation - then fuck him and his Bret Hart-killing ass.
Guest packwingfn Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I never was a goldberg mark in the past But last night when he appeared, I still got chills, when he showed up, like wow, who would have thought and how times have changed, you know Ill root for him And at least this means Austin is going to Smackdown *more than likely* and it gives Benoit,Eddy,Brock someone to feud with New feuds, or feuds that kicked ass but werent pushed well enough is all I want
Guest packwingfn Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Goldberg-Rock Austin-Benoit or Eddy HHH/Jericho teaming (ok maybe that isnt good but at least he isnt jobbing to HHH)
Guest Downhome Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 ...that old ABC show 'Life Goes On' (let's see if anyone remembers that ... I doubt it). Corkey, right? If he's just going to come in and further bury guys who deserve elevation - then fuck him and his Bret Hart-killing ass. I'll say it again, and it needs saying since some people still "don't get it". Goldberg did NOT end Bret's career, he was a part of an accident. What ended Bret's career was allowing him to work injured before the match, and making him work AFTER the match for weeks, taking hit to the head after hit to the head, by Funk at times I believe of all people. Bret Hart himself has stated that it IS NOT Goldbergs fault, but rather, everyone in power of WCW for forcing him to go out there even though he knew he shouldn't.
Guest treble charged Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I hope this works out, but I'm not holding my breath. I never really minded the guy that much, but I was never a huge fan of his, either. Anyway, I hope he makes them lots of money and doesn't hurt anyone in the process.

Guest Brian Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I hope this fails and the WWE dies a sad death. It's their damn fault.
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Did Goldberg look a little small to anyone? Maybe it was just the jacket hiding the physique.

See, that pisses me off, i really AM the biggest bret hart mark, sure, challenge me on it all you want, you can NOT blame somebody with as much experience and ring knowledge as the hitman for ANY spot that went wrong, especially with someone as green as goldberg then, or as green as he is now.
TheFranchise Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Oh yeah: Fuck Goldberg. oh yeah, i forgot to say that.
Guest Lil Naitch Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 I like Goldberg, but I didn't makr out for him as much as I would have if he had been part of Invasion.
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Any man who says he's in the business for the money AND he actually TRASHES the sport....well FUCK HIM. And he also ended one of the best PRO WRESTLER's carrer...and he shows no remorse. FUCK HIM and it just baffles me people can cheer him.
Guest Brian Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Hate Goldberg for the ego, the crappy matches, the fact that he helps the prevailing management theory to not build around their guys, becauses he's not a draw, because he can only work one gimmick, one character, one style of three minute match and because he's getting pushed ahead of someone more deserving.

I don't know what you are trying to say. I didn't blame Bret for anything, I have never really done so. I simply said it was an accident, and accidents DO happen in Pro. Wrestling, that's all this was. However, it would not have happened had the WCW guys in charge hadn't forced Bret to go out there and take part, not only in this match, but before this match, and the weeks after this match. Also... ...to say someone like Bret can not be blamed for anything just because he has experiance and knowledge is not really something which is true. At any time, ANYONE can have an accident. It's not a matter of experiance and knowledge, it's just bad fucking luck.
Guest treble charged Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 FUCK HIM and it just baffles me people can cheer him. Good marketing. That's all it takes.
Guest Downhome Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 And he also ended one of the best PRO WRESTLER's carrer...and he shows no remorse. FUCK HIM and it just baffles me people can cheer him. Cheap excuses to find a reason to hate someone, that's all that is. The man has even said he's fucking sorry for it happening time after time. If Bret doesn't blame him, and has said so many times before, I don't understand how anyone else can.
Guest Brian Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 How would you market Goldberg? He's only proven to get over with one gimmick and can't work as a heel.
