[WM] Here's your pictures, ass clowns!

Guest Jobber of the Week

Okay, as I put in my little diary thread, I took a bunch of pictures both from the show and from the wrestlers trying to get to their hotel rooms and live a normal life while me and a few other assholes kept them busy all day and night. I was going to just post it in a reply to that thread, but it went over about as well as a Scott Steiner match and there's almost 3 dozen pictures here, so I might as well make a thread for it.

All pictures here are resized to 1024x768, but my camera takes them at really high res. Thus, if for some reason you want a larger version of said picture, just ask and I'll upload a bigger one. I can also take a full sized picture and just cut it down to a 1024 sized shot of the main action (such as what's going on in the ring) but blurry things in these pictures just look even blurrier when huge.

Also, please don't be an asshole and link to these on other message boards (which puts a heavier strain on the hosting) or stick your website's address all over them and put them on your site. I'm just trying to be a nice guy here, mkay? B-)

And thus, the pictures, in semi-chronological order:

Mattitude arrives in a limo while Albert takes off

Al Snow leaving the hotel

Kidman

Torrie, looking kinda better than she did in person, really

You know, I'd like Hurricane more if he looked less like a dweeb in his ring get-up

The usual hotel crowd at one point Saturday night

Trish Stratus and Shelton Benjamin attempt to leave but are pushed back in by Seattle Police when they see the crowd You can see Trish's hair left of center and the stars from Benjamin's track suit (why was he wearing that thing in public?) just left of that.

Kanyon got off a charter bus and stuck around for a while, signing autographs and that kind of thing

Paul Heyman was chatting with someone and holding a baby. Does Heyman have a kid that I don't know about or something or did it belong to someone else?

Moving onto the show, here's a picture of the general stadium taken right after you walk in

Opening pyro

Tag match in action

RAMP.. IS.. JERICHO!

Shawn does his really drawn-out entrance

The pyro while Shawn does his in-ring flexy thing

HBK does his taunt thing in the corner

WALLS! Tap you bastard! Tap!

Booker T on the corner. Sign to the right was just too damn big.

Rocky ownz0rs you and you know it

Luke Warm Steve Austin gestures what he thought the fans could do when he walked out

Rock wins...

...but The WifeBeater comes onto the stage and does his regular thing to keep the crowd happy

Kurt Angle on the stage

Angle's pyro

The staredown

ANGLE SLAM

Bah Gawd, King! The F5!

The handshake

Pyro celebrating the botched SSP and Brockly freshly crippling himself

He poses one more time with that bad boy while waiting for EMT crews and a stretcher (he didn't need it to get up the ramp) to come by.

And that's that. There were a lot more pics, but a rather constant cloud of fog or smoke or some kind of vapor kept coming out of the dugout and the flash reflected off it, making the whole shot a rather cloudly shade of white.

Also, because I was a bad boy who broke the rules:

A video of the Brock SSP and the general crowd reaction

Yeah, it's not much, and you can barely see the guy, but it gives you a feeling of what it was like anyway:

Movie is here. 3.6MB Quicktime file. Loud, obviously. Zoom isn't an option in movie mode or something, so you can just sorta see the Blob representing Brock fly through the air then hear everyone go nuts when he blows it.

Also, somehow picture 12 and 13 ended up being the same picture. Don't know how that happened. Think I screwed up selecting these things to move off the smartmedia card. O_o

They're both Rocky poses, but I had two different Rocky pose pictures, and ended up copying only one.

The only thing that sucks about your seats, you can't see Brock hit the SSP on Angle

Like didnt you have a tough time seein the mat or anything or whenever they fought on the floor?

Nice shots. Question: Did they give the fans crap about camera use? They gave me so much crap at a Raw ep last August that I had to take my camera back to the car. I'm thinking about going to NYC for next year's but I need to get my suped up camera in - otherwise it's not as fun.

I was reading in the One And Only thread about how disappointing it was that everyone sat on their hands during the mat stuff and started cheering for the power moves. The reason for this is that the power moves is what those on the floor and in the bottom floors of the lower bowl could see. You couldn't see the apron, so both guys would disappear into the sea of people.

There were those big monitors hanging from above, but let's be honest and admit that watching whole matches on those is no fun, and entrances were lost because all monitors were playing the videos. As such, it felt like hours straight of cheering on the fighting.

Question: Did they give the fans crap about camera use? They gave me so much crap at a Raw ep last August that I had to take my camera back to the car.

No crap, but they did ask to look in all bags. They looked in my camera bag, saw the camera, and let me on.

Both are Olympus. Most of them are from the three megapixel. I have a new one with is five megapixel and supports CompactFlash in addition to SmartMedia and thus can hold a bazillion more pictures. Too bad I burned it's batteries up taking pictures at the Space Needle.

...And no, before anyone asks, the lens flare in that shot of the whole arena before the show isn't photoshopped. Just looks like it is for some reason. Pictures are untouched aside from resizing.

They told us not to use suped up/video cameras when I went to a Smackdown taping. Although they didn't actually go around and check.

Still, I'd think probably it would be stricter at a WM.
