dude, i knew i wasn't the only one who thought people were over-rating brock-angle, seeing it through rose-colored glasses, etc. hbk-jericho was YOUR match of the night and mine too .

Well I haven't seen the tape again, but live it was awesome. Brock was mirroring Angle's early movements on the match because he wasn't the calibre mat worker Angle was, but had the physical prowess. Angle had the brains to move the match up, used the chinlock effectively as a weardown hold, and Brock eventually having to break out the big offense to put him down. Too bad he didn't hit the SSP, as it would have been perfect for that match. Almost as deep as Michaels/Jericho.

I thought Brock/Angle was very good, but that they were capable of much more (of course Angle's injury has a lot to do with this). I was also quite bored at a long resthold in the middle of the match and a quiet crowd didn't help much. Also the missed SSP was kinda downer.

I thought Brock / Angle was good but, to tell you the truth, I was too exhausted from the previous 3:30 hours to fully appreciate it. I'd say HBK / Jericho was MOTN.
