Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I don't laugh too much but I did find this show funny. In particular the horror movie episode and the episode where pong is played are very good. I found the show to be hit and miss but when they did get things right it was very much worth watching. Memories or comments anyone?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Vanessa Angel was hot as hell and I marked out when I saw the guy who played the brother Chett in the new Shaft movie.
Guest Bloodice Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I loved the movie, but was never a fan of the television show. Just seemed to be lacking everything and I never stayed awake through a full episode. Vanessa was a good actress, but after seeing the movie, I felt the show failed in comparison.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I love the tv show. I think my favorite one was where they got the VCR remote that could pause, rewind, and fast forward time. But it was weird seeing CHet play a prison bitch later on Oz.
Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 ...and the episode where pong is played are very good. That's the one where Death challenges them to a game of their choice, and the first thought Gary had was "pong" - great stuff
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I used to watch the show (on USA) all the time as a kid. It wasn't until a few seasons in that I got around to seeing the movie - which still holds up as one of the best 80s films.
Guest Boromir's Smirking Revenge Report post Posted April 2, 2003 The episode when the machines in the house came to life led to a great Chet quote: "The vacuum cleaner almost burned the house down, the garbage disposal tried to kill me, and my electric toothbrush tired to...pleasure me. It's man against machines. Just call me the Maytag Repairman (*clenches knife between teeth*)."

Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 3, 2003 True, Vanessa Angel was hoter that hot. I also loved the episode where the machines in the house came to life. The image of Chet fighting off the vacumn cleaner? with the knife in his mouth is a great one. I also loved his eternal battle with Principal Scampy.

Guest RepoMan Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I loved that show, and that whole line up USA with Duckman and the police show I can't remember much about. My fav was the one with the muscial pirates.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 5, 2003 I enjoyed the singing pirate episode. The scene where the disco music overtakes Chett is classic.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted April 5, 2003 It was funny seeing Wyatt on an episode of ER, and then seeing Gray in a Billy Blanks movie..that also had the old Red Ranger in it...and had Dio doing the theme song..that was a good B movie... Anyway, The pong episode was badass to the tenth power. Wasn't that the episode where they got that Doom-ish game before it hit the market?
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 5, 2003 Yes, the pong episode is where they get the video game before it hits the stores.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 5, 2003 I was young when the show was on, unfortunately. So now, my only memory of it is the fact that Ed Ferrera was a writer on it. I doubt it, but is the show airing anywhere?
