Guest gwf0704 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Just wondering how long it will be before Brett Hart returns to the WWE? Since we have recently had wrestlers like Goldberg, Hogan, Piper and Sable debut or return to WWE it seems to make sense that Hart would be next. All 4 above had stated once that they would never work for McMahon due to personal grudges or show content, but yet here they are... I know Hart's situation is different though. His brother did die in the ring, but do any of you think there is enough money or a return to glory big enough to have Hart be enticed to return, whether in a non-wrestling role or not. Just wondering.....
Guest GameCop Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 How can you not know how to spell Bret Hart?
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 It's been spelled both ways so I wouldn't get too upset. If he spelled it Bret Heart, then there would be a problem.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 We all like to think that Bret's convictions are stronger than his need for money but we all know how ugly the world really is. I think it depends on how much Vince is willing to put things aside to cooperate and how much Bret can accomplish when he's a near-cripple for life. He obviously can't wrestle.
Guest ISportsFan Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I want to know how he can call himself an "Old School Mark" in his avatar area and then not spell "Bret Hart" correctly, since he's used that name forever and he's definitely "old school" in mind and wrestling. Jason

Actually, its Bret who needs to be willing to put things aside. From all accounts, Vince has tried to get Bret back, but Bret got into the accident.
Guest CanadianChick Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I don't think Bret will ever come back to WWE. What would be his motivation? I do hope he patches things up with Vince and Shawn for his sake though.
Guest GameCop Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 WTF? How can Team Angle be on the Backlash poster if Backlash is a RAW brand PPV?
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Seperate brand ppv's dont start till June.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 They're waiting to sign Jesus first.
Guest BifEverchad Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 WTF? How can Team Angle be on the Backlash poster if Backlash is a RAW brand PPV? Uh......no it ain't. Brand-only PPVs don't start until June (RAW's "Bad Blood")
Guest Downhome Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Had Bret not had his stroke, you would have already seen him in WWE. Even the man himself has said this before. Once he feels that he is at the physical point to where he wouldn't let his fans down, then he'll be on your TV once again. If he never feels he'll reach that point, then you'll never see him. It's as simple as that.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Back to the original Question how long... Hmmmm... checks his watch... Has Hell frozen over yet?
LooseCannon25 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 There's nothing wrong with the spelling of Brett "the Hitman" Clarke
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I'm going to say "Who the fuck knows", because I would have never thought I'd see Hogan in the WWF again. EVER.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I'm going to say "Who the fuck knows", because I would have never thought I'd see Hogan in the WWF again. EVER. Hogan's situation is a tad different despite the On air hostitility with McMahon and him, they at least still talked throughout the time. And even at the trial Hogan didn't really testify against him, the Proscution called him and Hogan didn't have anything damaging to say against McMahon.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Sable and Piper coming back after all the bad blood between them and the WWF shows me to never say never.

Jason I've actually seen it written both as Brett and Bret, but I'll go with the majority and say Bret. Sorry for the mistype. Kind of like when IRS's name in Florida was written in magazines as both Mike Rotonda and Rotondo. Or Canadian wrestler Jos LeDuc was also Joe LeDuc.
Guest GameCop Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 OOPS, that poster forgot to give you a SPOILER warning!
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Sable and Piper coming back after all the bad blood between them and the WWF shows me to never say never. Piper had a long celebrated career in the WWF, and despite what ever ill will I doubt he would miss a chance to get back on the national stage again. and Sable, heh poor her couldn't take a little shit in the gym bag, and sharing the spot light with a 2nd generation women's wrestler like Luna.....which got her fired and put gangrel in limbo until his eventual release.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I changed it to a spoiler. I'm really sorry about that. I keep forgetting. I would remove the quotes in other posts too.
Guest Downhome Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Ermmm, thanks guys for apparently spoiling something there.
Guest Downhome Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I changed it to a spoiler. I'm really sorry about that. I keep forgetting. I would remove the quotes in other posts too. Heh, you didn't spoil it for me, the ones who quoted you did.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Even Foley spells Bret, Brett in his books
Guest Bruiser Chong Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 How about everyone quit busting on the guy for spelling it "Brett?" Believe it or not, in his early WWF days, they DID spell it like that.
Guest ISportsFan Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 How about everyone quit busting on the guy for spelling it "Brett?" Believe it or not, in his early WWF days, they DID spell it like that. They were wrong though, back then. WWF has never been good with names when people first come into their company. I'd give examples if I had the energy or motivation to look them up. Sorry for busting on the guy, he didn't deserve it. Jason
