I might pick up Brainscan if it's priced cheap.
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 West Side Story: SE I starred in the musical in high school 2 years ago, so I have to pick it up for sentimental reasons
Guest Flyboy Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Bear in the Big Blue House: Live! I'm so there.
Guest fazzle Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Wow. Two straight weeks with nothing I care about.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I hated Dawson's Creek, however TBS has 4 hours of the show from 8 am to Noon every day. I don't think I could take that much teen drama every day.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Dawson's Creek and Secretary sound good to me.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I have no interest in any of there. However I don't mind, because Family Guy will be here in a few weeks. wooo!
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I'll probably get Red Dragon. I had no idea they were releasing I Love Lucy on DVD.
The Dames Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I'd get DC: 1st season and West Side Story. I'll wait til I can get the Lecter movies in a 3 pack. Dames
Guest EQ Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Maybe I'll pick up West Side Story... Actually, maybe I'll let my mom buy it and then steal it when she forgets she has it. Married with Children would be awesome if they released it by season... Screw the "volumes" BTW -- I'm holding off on my Dames/Dawson's Creek joke out of respect to Dawson's Creek fans on the board... but just so you know, Dames... I did have one planned.
Guest Brush with Greatness Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Actually, from what I here, there will be no Hannibal Lecter three pack. Appently Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal have a different distributor than Red Dragon or something of the ilk. So I wouldn't hold out.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Far From Heaven is a must if you're into artsy-type films or you were a fan of the 1950's and 60's. Secretary is also a very good, if not very odd film. Very quirky love story.

Appently Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal have a different distributor than Red Dragon or something of the ilk. So I wouldn't hold out. You've got to be kidding me right? Can anyone confirm this? That SUCKS. Just like there's no Halloween box set of F13 set. Dammit. Dames
Guest Crucifixio Jones Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 Dames, sometimes you slightly amuse me. Yeah, MGM distributes Hannibal while Universal distributes Red Dragon so you may or may not see a 3-pack. But I'd bank on "no" since if there was gonna be one, they would've likely released it yesterday along with Red Dragon, like New Line boxed up all the Austin Powers and Friday movies when the latest installments were released on DVD. I picked up Red Dragon and Dawson's Creek (the first season is the SHIT, yo! Say something...) yesterday. I already own West Side Story and the new version doesn't contain good or interesting enough extras to make me wanna double-dip. Maybe I'll ask for it as a b-day gift. Those are the only three I was even remotely interested in. I'll try to get my hands on Secretary to rent this weekend and if it's good, I'll buy it. Maggie Glynhaall is a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine.
The Dames Posted April 3, 2003 Report Posted April 3, 2003 I'll pick up Dawson's Creek...I'm man enough to say it and own it. I saw a Lecter two pack with the other movies and just assumed that Red Dragon would make it a 3 pack. I never even realized that it was a completely different distribution company. It reminds me of the Kevin Smith movies. KS went as far as to make a box that you could buy separately JUST so you can say you have a box set of them. Dames
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Damn, April is looking like a slow month for DVD's.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 2 weeks until Spirited Away...2 weeks until Spirited Away...CRAP...no money...
