Here's a funny story about New Jack and Balls Mahoney, Tajiri, Sandman's kid and Rhyno.

 

In Schenectady, there was an ECW event being held at the Sports Plex, which was nothing more than a bootleg indoor soccer field. There wasn't a bad seat in the house, but it wasn't close to a sell out either. There was only one concession stand as well, so a lot of the wrestlers would get on line with us regular folk and just sit in the bleachers to watch the rest of the card after they were done with their matches.

 

New Jack had just come back from doing a run-in and of course, diving off of a platform and putting someone through a table. Later on, he was climbing up the bleachers and almost toppled over because his legs just gave out. I ran over to him and helped him up and sat him down. He looked at me with the most glazed over look on his face and said...."mah leg hurt". He was so out of it, I just went back to chillin with my friends.

 

Super Crazy and Tajiri were eating pizza together in the bleachers and I have a picture with them, it's pretty cool. What I found most interesting about that is that they only spoke Spanish to each other.

 

During intermission, Balls Mahoney went to the concession stand to get something to eat and one of my friends was a huge mark for him and just ran up to him.

 

Balls didn't care and my friend said: "I just wanna shake your hand".

Balls did and then said, "Why'd you just want to shake my hand?"

"I don't have anything for you to sign".

 

He then said "oh" and proceeded to take a thumbtack out of his pocket...stick it INTO his forehead, pulled it out and gave it to him.

 

After the show, two funny things happened. My best friend turned 21 that day and was a huge Sandman mark. While Sandman was making his 15 minute entrance, all of us were trying to get Sandman to pour beer down our friends throat, but he couldn't hear us. After the show, while everyone was getting ready to go out, his son Tyler was chillin by the stands. Yes, the same kid involved in the Raven angle.

 

I went up to him and I said "Hey Tyler....do me a favor." The prick tried to ignore me for about 5 minutes, but eventually gave in. I asked him to tell his father to come out and share a beer with my best friend. Sandman popped out a few minutes later and yelled out "Sorry man, I'm out of beer!"

 

At this point, my friend and I are still screwing around and were looking over the balcony past the curtain they had as their locker room. A friend of mine does a GREAT Paul E. impression yelled out "FRANCINE!" as she passed by and she turned around really fucking quick. "WHAT!" "I'm up here!" Francine looks at us and goes...."Oh fuck you!"

 

A few minutes later, the funniest thing I've ever seen a wrestler do took place. Back then, Rhyno was being pushed as the "Rookie Monster" and we were still in the same spot on the balcony. Rhyno passed by and my friend shouted out..."Rhyno...the Cookie Monster!"

 

He looked up at us and didn't know which one it was. He pointed at us and sounding JUST like Kyle's sister from South Park, he said "STUPID!" and walked away. We fucking DIED laughing after that one.
