When I go to use the DiVX Player, I get this: The video data is not recognized by DivX and it says the file contains Video data: FOURCC code "0" What the hell does this mean ? What do I have to do?

Guest razazteca Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Don't Be Hating, there are some DVD rips out there with great resolution of 640 x 480 It does not take a genius to notice fake files either........if the id tag and the file name don't match it is a fake or if the file size is too small it will most likely be fake.

I can watch DivX DVD Rips on my XBOX and connect my PC to my TV, too. Same quality and much smaller file sizes than SVCD. What's not to like? I don't download movies on Kazaa though. Not enough stuff there and, as you said, too many fakes.

Why so many people on Kazaa are keeping it, I don't know. And I hate the fucking dicks who take Mr. Deeds and make it Anger Management. Who gets off on that type of shit? And the reason why it can take forever to download a file despite having a cable modem is that the person you're downloading it from may be on a 56 K modem, or just have 100 people downloading files from him. Thus, it's impossible for the connection speed to be 100 K or whatever you'd like it to be.

I don't use KaZaA anymore, but back in the day when I was really heavy into piracy (on my 28.8, 3 hours to upload/download an album if you're lucky, that's DEDICATION~!) I tried downloading a cam of The Faculty, and left my computer on all day for two and a half days to get half of it. Then it turned out it was a shitty cam (then again, it was Real Audio, for this was back when DivX was a shitty "DVD rental" pipe dream) and a shittier movie so I didn't even bother with the second half. Now, when I first got to college, I downloaded a couple movies off KaZaA which, depending on the users, took a few hours, or, in the case of my Goodfellas DVD-rip (which I still haven't even watched yet), a little over an hour and a half... less time then it would've taken me to watch the movie in real time But I don't even use KaZaA anymore so it doesn't really matter. But there's my two cents.

Yeah, I think people squeeze all they can into part 1. Making part 2 way shorter. That was especially true with Oz season 6 episode 8...everyone had part 2 but not part 1.
