Guest Crazy Dan Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Another comedian whom I like is Jon Stewart. I have liked him ever since he had a show on MTV.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted April 7, 2003 He said skitcom, not sitcom. But yeah, Shut Up You Fucking Baby is classic stuff.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Well let me just pimp Dustin Diamond real quick, seriously he was real funny. Not funny and make you think (like Carlin, and in no way is he better than Carlin). But he was gut-busting funny.
Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Carlin is performing near here tomorrow night. Too bad I can't go. Kudos to whoever mentioned Stephen Lynch. There's a reason he won Comedy Central's Standup Showdown.
Guest Marshall Report post Posted April 7, 2003 He said skitcom, not sitcom. But yeah, Shut Up You Fucking Baby is classic stuff. Oh. I can't read, sorry. I've never even heard that word anyway. Anybody heard of or seen Patrice O'Neal? Very funny.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted April 8, 2003 Eddie Izzard. Recognize.
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Raw. Delirious. All you need to know.... oh you mean right now? I ain't keepin' up nor do I care enough to do so, but I guess I'd have to go with Bernie Mac, or maybe Dave Chappelle.
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted April 9, 2003 CARLIN. Period. End of story. Thank Joe for HBO Comedy which is constantly putting great Carlin and other stand ups specials on the air. Joe Bless You All.
Guest EQ Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Chris Rock always cracks me up.
Guest Crucifixio Jones Report post Posted April 10, 2003 I knew Dr. Tom would be here to pimp that British transvestite. I checked out "Dressed To Kill" on his advice and while it was humorous, it was far from flat out funny. His appearance on the Late Show (when Elvis Costello I believe was subbing for Dave) was funnier. I'll throw some names out there that have yet to be mentioned...Tracy Morgan and Denis Leary seems to have been overlooked here.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted April 10, 2003 "Dress To Kill" is the best standup show I've ever seen. It usurped the throne that Chris Rock's "Bring The Pain" had previously occupied. Izzard certainly isn't for everyone, since his humor deals a lot with history, language, religion, and politics, but since I like all that stuff, I think he's damn funny. After him, I'd have to say Carlin, Rock, and Chappelle.

Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Where the fuck is the Dave Attell love? Insomniac is godly.
Guest Grand Slam Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Not a big fan of Insomniac. I think he could be pretty funny, but I have never seen his stand-up act.
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted April 10, 2003 The only Attell stand up that I've seen was on Comedy Central. He is funnier on Insomniac. Not to say that the CCPresents wasn't funny, but Insomniac is more of a spur-of-the-moment humor.
