Â They coasted their way to the ECF because they played two young teams who, quite frankly had no business being there. They play the same type of boring trap hockey over and over again. At least Anaheim has playmakers on forward like Leclerc, Kariya, Sykora, Oates, Rucchin, Neidermeyer, etc. Who does Jersey have? Elias, Madden and Gomez. Everyone else is a defensive player. Â It's fine to win championships with defense. My problem is that defense is all Jersey plays, and the games are as exciting as watching the grass grow. I was hoping somebody would crosscheck him in the face again to re-open that cut. There's always Game 6... Â Jiggy will be back... I'm hoping Kariya will get more aggressive. These guys at tables had autographed jerseys of: Â Jagr (all star) Lemeiux (all star) Â ROCKET RICHARD!!!!!! Â Gretzky (Oil) and the Penguins team jersey one of the years they won the Cup. Â All were going for $300, except the Richard one that was going for $500. Â He had a Dryden puck going for $75, as well as a Gretzky puck for only $30(!), but I had NO money. Â Â Â Â Anyway, I think game 5 was a fluke. Anaheim seems to be struggling on the road in this series, but I think they'll get the win at home and game 7 will keep me from Raw. I have a good feeling about the Devils today even though its only been 1 hour and 22 minutes into the day. I can feel it. I have a knack for these things.
