Guest bob_barron Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Klatt was on the last North Star playoff team. Sedin got the assist so I was somewhat right. Vancouver played terrific tonight. In the first period they let themselves get flustered by thr Wild. But in period two they came out swinging and was able to get a goal. They didn't let two quick goals fluster them and they kept playing their style and it ended up working for them as they scored three unanswered goals to win the game. They now have all the momentum and tons of confidence going into Game 2. Good job guys

I'm starting to really like the Ducks' run.Go into Dallas and take both games where Dallas was so good at home this year. I'm also starting to hope Dan Cloutier implodes pretty soon. Not because I dislike the Canucks but because some of their fans are starting to annoy me with their boastfulness. Not on this board,in case you're wondering.

Other than that,I'd like to see the Canucks win the whole thing. Actually the only team left that would annoy me a little if they won the Cup would be Philly but that's pretty much only because of Bobby Clarke. And the irony is that he was one of my five favorite players growing up. But my first choice would be the Lightning because of the Detroit Vipers connection. But that's not looking good.

Not only would it be great for other small market teams, but the respective cities would be really into it. If Tampa makes it, it'll still be "Oh, by the way," on the sports radio and news down here. Nobody cares.

Wouldn't the possible two sport champions get the Tampa area a little fired up at all? Anyway,I fear that with Detroit and Colorado out,that'll be the reaction of the US media anyway,no matter who wins. It'll still be 40 minutes into the hour on Sportscenter before anybody hears who won the Cup. Unless Philly wins so ESPN can kiss east coast ass. New Jersey maybe too but less likely.

The guy threw an elbow into him for christs sake. I don't care if Roman embellished a little goalies have done that all playoffs long and got the call.
