Urban Warfare Posted April 29, 2003 Author Report Posted April 29, 2003 1-1, ducks tie it on a goal by rucchin.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 GO DUCKS. They made me a hefty sum against Detroit, and it'll be even more if they knock off Dallas.
Urban Warfare Posted April 29, 2003 Author Report Posted April 29, 2003 check that, 2-1 lethinen gets another goal.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Dallas won 2-1. The series is now 2-1 AMD. Anaheim suffers its first loss of the playoffs
Guest Banky Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Damn Western Canada. I have to watch the Canucks.
Guest LaParkaMarka Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Canucks are up 3-2 at the end of the 2nd, every single goal scored on the power play.
Guest CanadianChris Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Redden from Varada and Bonk at 6:43 of OT. Sens retake home ice.
Guest cartman Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Sens won't get by Jersey anyways. No biggie.
Guest CanadianChris Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Who says Jersey's going to be the opponent? And, is this the same Jersey that lost 3 of 4 to Ottawa during the season?
Guest CanadianChris Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Good night for the Canadian teams on American soil. Canucks win 3-2.
Urban Warfare Posted April 30, 2003 Author Report Posted April 30, 2003 great win for canucks, lucky to win it though. all 5 goals on the power play.
Guest cartman Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 If you think Tampa can beat Jersey than you definitely don't know Hockey. Regular season don't mean anything anymore. Playoffs are a whole different game.
Guest LaParkaMarka Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Think last year, and replace Tampa with Carolina. Yes, obviously a team like Carolina/Tampa could never beat Jersey. Anyone who says so knows nothing about hockey. They should also be dragged out into an alley and shot.
Guest cartman Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 Dude, i'm talking about right now, this yeat. Not last year. There IS quite a difference. With exception of one gave vs. the Bruins and the last game against Tampa Brodeur has been outstanding behind the best Defense in the NHL. It's going to take a Hell of a lot for Tampa to pull this series out of their asses. I know any team can win at any time like Carolina last year and Anaheim/Minnesota this year, but those teams win with a hot goalie, or a great goalie. Brodeur will win the series for Jersey, end of story. ...and hey if i'm wrong, who cares I hate Jersey anyways.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 ...and hey if i'm wrong, who cares I hate Jersey anyways. I could somewhat believe you, until this ^^^ It's just bias. Tampa has a great team, and they have proved that they can hang with Jersey. All they have to do is stop blowing the lead.
Guest CanadianChris Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 If you think Tampa can beat Jersey than you definitely don't know Hockey. Regular season don't mean anything anymore. Playoffs are a whole different game. Yeah, kinda like all those people who KNEW Colorado would beat Minnesota. Oops. I absolutely think Tampa can beat Jersey, because Khabibulin CAN outplay Martin Brodeur (hasn't yet, but can), and the Lightning have shown they can score on Brodeur. I'll ignore the smart-ass remark, considering I've been following hockey for longer than you've lived.
Guest CanadianChris Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 2-1 Jersey after 1. Despite the score, a pretty slow first period, although the Elias line seems to have finally shown up for the Devils.
Guest the pinjockey Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 I guess I will come in and comment real quick, congrats to the Sens for winning game 3, they had more to do with winning that game then the Flyers did with losing it. (and if you ever hear a fan of the losing team say that instead of saying their team blew it you know it was true)
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Giguere just robbed Mike Modano. 0-0 16:15 left in the 3rd......
Guest Powerplay Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Quack quack, Ducks win it 1-0! The more they win the less Detroit looks pathetic for losing to them, so I'm cheering them on. Giguire = Some sort of God.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Ducks win. I make money. The WORLD is happy
