Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Maybe the inexplicably successful Ottawa Senators being the only Canadian team left?
Guest LaParkaMarka Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 They'll talk about their riot loot, of course. Or maybe we'll enjoy the lovely weather we've been experiencing lately. I'll try to pick up a decent dvd player for you too, Max.
Guest gthureson Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Whether the goals were Cloutier's fault or not, the 'Nucks have no choice but to start someone else for game 7. You want to see nervous defencemen and tenative forwards? Put them in front of a goalie who has gotten thumped two games in a row. That just leads to a situation where Minnesota gets to dictate the game to the Canucks, and a Canuck loss. Get someone else in there, whether it be Skudra or Auld (I'd go with Alex Auld myself).
Guest The Czech Republic Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 Hockey is barely better than arena football? Good lord. Well, all that southbound expansion sure did us a hell of a lot of good. You'd think large-scale NHL success would be the appropriate tradeoff for the existence of a professional hockey team called the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 8, 2003 Report Posted May 8, 2003 I'm just going to add, that as much as I like to see a Canadian all final, even I think the Canucks are in trouble. Even if they beat the Wild(which I don't think they will), they AREN'T beating the Ducks. Not if they keep playing the way they are.

Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 I haven't seen anything about Cloutier not starting. I think he might start again.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 And after a weird goal. It's two to one. Then, Vancouver gets the first penalty called. Can we say 2-2 before the 2nd period is over?
Urban Warfare Posted May 9, 2003 Author Report Posted May 9, 2003 the canucks need to get a quick goal right off the bat to take minnesota completely out of the game.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 the canucks need to get a quick goal right off the bat to take minnesota completely out of the game. Will it happen? ...probably not.
Guest bob_barron Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 At least we killed the penalty. Twenty minutes from destiny...
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 At least we killed the penalty. Twenty minutes from destiny... This is assuming the Canucks don't blow it.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 That goal was awesome. Great hand-eye for that one by Dupuis.
Urban Warfare Posted May 9, 2003 Author Report Posted May 9, 2003 At least we killed the penalty. Twenty minutes from destiny... This is assuming the Canucks don't blow it. all they have to do is play trap, and wait for minnesota to make some mistakes and take advantage.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 That goal was awesome. Great hand-eye for that one by Dupuis. Fuck, I was like Cloutier. *me and Cloutier when that goal happened* WTF?

Guest bob_barron Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 That goal was awesome. Great hand-eye for that one by Dupuis. I completely agree. I just stared at my TV and went: The hell? In Cloots We Trust
Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 In Cloots We Trust Prepare to get smacked down then. I have a feeling that Brunette or Gaborik is due. I think this is going to OT
Guest bob_barron Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 I can't take anymore overtime games. My blood pressure is high enough!

I think this is going to OT Then Parks will seal the deal for the Canucks fate. I'm sorry, but I really ain't impressed with the Canucks after the last two games. And unless they impress me should they win and face the Ducks (they'll get just one game to impress), I'm begging for the Canucks to be ousted if they lose the first game to the Ducks.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 I can't take anymore overtime games. My blood pressure is high enough! Then you better pray that should the Canucks face the Ducks, they never get to OT.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 While the Nucks have at least looked better in this game, they still haven't finished Minnesota off. That's the dangerous part. They can double-team Gaborik all they want, he can just dish it off to someone else.

Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 IT'S A GOAL~! I like goals. 2-2. I KNEW THE CANUCKS WOULD BLOW IT~!
