Guest CanadianChris Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 20 minutes till a game seven those ducks are going to be way rested Too rested...they won't have played a game in nearly 2 weeks by the time the Cup final gets underway. That's way too much time off.

That's way too much time off. They showed a graphic on ESPN during the first intermission. The Ducks have the most rest by a team since the NHL took control of the Cup. They are at the top of the rest list at 10 days. All the other 4 teams (Oilers, Wings, Habs, Leafs) won the cup...

I would think the Ducks would want to keep playing as much as possible and ride their momentum and good fortune. Did any of those 4 teams have to open on the road?
Guest Masked Heel Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 the ducks are playing great hocky right now the rest may effect them but i'm sure they are still practicing and getting ready while the sens and the devils are playing physically intence games that may hurt them too
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Well, hell, that sucked. 1-1 on another PP goal by Nieuwendyk.
Guest Masked Heel Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 i guess something can be said for standing around and waiting for the puck to come to you
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Oh, FUCK...I have a really bad feeling about this penalty.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Never mind...Jersey gave it right back.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 And now Jersey gives them a POWER PLAY, and almost a PENALTY SHOT!
Guest HBK16 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Im predicting that the Ducks good luck will run out and be dominated in the finals. Cuz thats all what it is....Luck.
Guest HBK16 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Well now we got over time. I dont like that.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Holy God, it's overtime. I say Martin Havlat scores the winner.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Luck doesn't win you all those games. It's their goaltender. The Sabres rode a goaltender to the finals once...and lost in triple OT of game 6 on a bullshit goal. You never know.

Luck no way dude the Ducks are playing increadble hockey their only shortcomming really is the inexperence of some members of the team Overtime=high drama

Plus I despise the Ducks.
Guest HBK16 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Overtime=high drama I agree thats why I hate it. I would rather have Ottawa go into the 3rd with a 5 goal lead instead of begin to sweat everytime NJ gets the puck in overtime.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Screw it, I can't watch. I'm going to bed and listen to Dean and Gord on the radio.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Experience only goes so far. If the Ducks were to be overrun by experience, Detroit would have swept them. Anaheim plays a careful defense system with the ability to break. The only question mark for them is: If Giguere is rusty, the Ducks lose. The layoff from the Detroit slaughter didn't faze him. Getting blown out and pulled against Dallas didn't faze him. If he stays hot, and keeps playing his game, NOBODY CAN BEAT ANAHEIM.
Guest HBK16 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 NOBODY CAN BEAT ANAHEIM. God I hope your wrong.

Thats like my dad he can't stand Laker games unless they are up by 30 points the whole game I'm not a fan of the sens or the devils kinda new to hockey accually so i'm just enjoying the game but i'd rather a game 7 be pushed
Guest HBK16 Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I love the drama of an overtime. But in an important game as this one, I would rather have my Sens up with a secure win.
Urban Warfare Posted May 22, 2003 Author Report Posted May 22, 2003 Can this game get any better? Alfredsson hits the post with a backhand.
Urban Warfare Posted May 22, 2003 Author Report Posted May 22, 2003 Varada couldnt have had more time, and pihllips puts it in.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Fuck Barron's unhappy? That makes me DOUBLY happy. BRING ON GAME 7!!!!!!!!!!!!
