WTF was with the officating these last minutes???

I mean, there was a holding penalty that shoulda been called with 5 mins to go that wasn't even called...

Oh yeah, the officiating sucked.

But it came down to exactly what I thought...one little mistake. Payback for Wednesday, when two guys covered Hossa on the winning play and left Varada and Phillips open.

There goes my playoff beard. I was beginning to rival Curtis Lesyscyhyn.

They had it. They fucking had it.

Go Ducks...*sigh*

That is an understatement. They didn't have it, they OWNED it.

The Devils have no fans.

Thus there is no bandwagon.

I just hate Ottawa. I've admitted my soft spot for the Devils before but the fact they've beaten Team Bankruptcy makes this great

I like to thank Ottawa, that gave hope to all us Canadians that you were determined to win the cup. I like to thank especially for Lalime, for bailing out the team so many times.

I also like to thank the refs for throwing their whistles to the crowd. Yes we all make mistakes, but when you are infront of the play, you should call it.

I also like to thank Ottawa, since they went farther than Toronto, and that Toronto is not just Canada's team.

I like to thank Anaheim, so that every hockey fan would cheer for them, because we don't want to see NJ win the cup.

Oooooo, bankruptcy jokes. Clever, Barron.

At least they made it out of the first round.

I cant believe the Sens lost. I was sure they would win. They were playing so well the last 10 minutes. So many chances. All there is to do now is vote for the team that just eliminated Ottawa. I hate cheering for the team that eliminates your favorite teams. It always happens to me.

Does it feel weird getting eliminated by a team other then Toronto?

Depends Bob. Probably the same as it will feel for ever Devils fan when they bomb against the Ducks.

You know what feels great? Watching Toronto get BLOWN OUT in game 7.

But, you know what feels even better? Eliminating the team that took the Leafs out, and doing it rather handily.

Keep jumping on bandwagons, Bob. Your teams are going 0-3 this season.

First, the Leafs choke.

Then, the Canucks CHOKE (x2)

And, in the Cup Finals, your newly beloved Devils will get owned.

There are no Devils fans. David Puddy is the only one.

doesn't it also feel weird that the Gary Betman conspiracy (which my friends will like to say) hasn't made the stanley cup finals since Vancouver in 1994.

There are no Devils fans.

There is no Devils bandwagon.

Thus I can not be jumping on a Devils bandwagon.

I'm happy they beat Ottawa and I'm gonna root for them v. Anaheim but it won't be nearly the same if TO and Vancouver won.

I think the Devils will beat Anaheim- Brodeur is that dam good.

Piss away? There was ONE error that was made, unlike those AWESOME Leafs....

Keep telling yourself that there are no Devils fans, Bob. They may draw low turnouts for parades, but that may be because New Jersey is the armpit of America.

The Devils?! Are going to beat Anaheim!? Because Brodeur is that damn good!? Brodeur has looked really bad in the last 3 games, and now he's going to face off with a guy that has a 1.22 GAA and a .960 save percentage, and you think that Brodeur is going to beat him?! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

exactly how did Ottawa piss away game 7?

Phili pissed away games five and six

Colorado pissed away games 5,6,7

Toronto pissed away game 5,7.

Yes- they pissed it away. They had all the momentum- and they blew it.

I've been to a Devils v. Rangers game. The Rangers taunt the Devils by chanting: You have no fans.

They don't even have parades. They're parades are in parking lots. That's like a ghetto parade.

Moving to Newark should help their fanbase though. Hopefully the city will embrace them.

Yes- the Devils will beat Anaheim. Gigeure's magic run is going to end sometime and the Devils are the team to do it.

Brodeuer is playing in his 4th Stanley Cup Final.

I think that should be Ducks in 5. I'm sorry, but the Ducks have lost only two games, and those two were a single goal game, and a rout to which Giggy bounced back.

Oh, and it's not Jiggy, but Giggy.

I think the Devils will beat Anaheim- Brodeur is that dam good.

And the the defence is good too. But unless the Devils get the offense going, I can't see the Devils winning a ton of games, hence why I say five for the Ducks. Unless the Devils get more than two goals a game, the Ducks almost always win. As the two loses they had came from more than 2 goal games.

East Rutherford is the rotting swamp of America.

Ottawa had all the momentum going in, got the first goal, had tons of chances in the third and they blew it.

They pissed it away. They should've won that game. They didn't.

The Devil's need an offense for Giggy's magic to run.

And ooooo~! 4th Finals~! And how many teams with good goalies have had more experience than Giggy and lost to the guy?

Guest bob_barron

Curtis Joseph- 0 finals

Marty Turco- 0 finals

Roloson/Fernandez- 0 finals

Brodeur- 4th final

I think Brodeur has more experience then anyone Giggy has faced. He's also the best Gigs has had to duel against.

there's a difference...

choking a lead is pissing it away.

They had all momentum, but we are looking at a trap, and Brodeur in net, not Cechmanek, and a sluggish Defence.

I meant playoff experience Bob. Not finals experience. Besides, with how pathetic the offense is in NJ, I can't see them winning a lot. No offense, but really, they need more offense to win.

Once again, they made ONE mistake, and they still generated scoring chances after the winning goal was scored. Pissing it away would be getting to a game 7, and then allowing 6 goals in said 7th game.

Who says Giguere's run is going to end? Jersey has fewer scorers than Detroit, Dallas, hell, even Minnesota. Anaheim can play defense with Jersey, and Anaheim, right now, has the better goaltender.

Oh, so you're basing it on playoff experience? Yeah, I mean, those Minnesota Wild and all their playoff experience. Knocking off the #3 and #4 seed. Those Anaheim Mighty Ducks and all of their experience, knocking off the #2 and #1 seed.

Playoff experience only matters when you are put in a situation to make it count. As long as Anaheim plays their game, it doesn't matter that they don't have as much playoff experience as Jersey. If it goes 7, and I stress IF, then, maybe the experience factor will matter.
