rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2003 I thought i might as well post this here now so people can start to bitch about it At the moment, the card for Backlash contains: Cena v Lesnar Rock v Goldberg HHH, Flair and Y2J v Diesel, Michaels and Booker T It's also likely the following feuds will have matches: Benoit and Rhyno v A-Train and Big Show FBI v Taker and Jones Sable v Torrie Victoria v Trish Vince and Piper v Hogan PLUS: WWE tag match World tag match Cruiser match Now it just be me, but this card doesn't fill be with excitement. The only good match likely to be on the card is a forgone conclusion (Lesnar/Cena) and there are TWO tag matches at or around the ME spot containing non/semi workers. Actually I'm betting Jericho pins HBK in the match and that will be HBK's way of giving Jericho the rub. What a good guy. As for Booker...well we already knew he was screwed but in true HHH fashion I'm predicting the Raw after Backlash Booker gets his rematch and of course loses. Guest nikowwf Report post Posted April 7, 2003 I see RAW -Goldberg vs. The Rock -Booker T, Shawn Michaels & Diesel vs. HHH, Chris Jericho & Ric Flair FOR THE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES - TABLES MATCH -Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. The Dudley Boyz FOR THE WOMAN'S TITLE -Trish Stratus (Champion) vs. Jazz SMACKDOWN FOR THE WWE TITLE -Brock Lesnar (Champion) vs.John Cena FOR THE WWE TAG TITLES -Team Angle (Champion) vs. Los Guerreros FOR THE WWE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE -Matt Hardy (Champion) vs. Rey Mysterio -Chris Benoit vs. Rhyno I see the benoit/rhyno stuff coming out of their match, and just cause the ppv is a little weak on the raw side in terms of match quality. not a bad show, not a great show. Guest converge241 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 per Meltzer Backlash could be either cena or Benoit against Lesnar.. as in the tourny will probably have those 2 in the finals.. personally i think its better to keep building the 1st PPV Cena-Lesnar match for a few more months and let them continiue to have house show matches to create a great finale in july or something.
