Guest Redhawk Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Does Vince respect HHH's "mind for the business" enough to not let a personal issue change things? What if the breakup isn't even HHH's fault? As long as he doesn't break Steph's heart I don't see why Vince would all of a sudden stop letting HHH come to booking meetings and do all the stuff he already does. It seems like the general consensus is that as soon as those two break up, HHH will immediately lose the title, lose all backstage pull, then be jobbed out for the rest of his career. I doubt that will happen. Vince still sees HHH as one of the biggest starts he has, and -- most importantly -- a star that HE created, not WCW or ECW. Guest The Wicker Man Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Unfortunately sir, you have a very valid point. I just hope that if anything does happen, i hope it is just a reduction on how much he dominates RAW.. and hopefully he will just lose a little bit more often. I have no real problem with HHH winning.. but not every single high profile match. Hopefully it will just lessen the impact that HHH has on the entire roster, and hence the entire show. The Dames 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2003 Should they break up, the split between Steph and HHH would have a fallout in terms of the things they would normally agree on. Regardless of how hard they try not to, their feelings will affect their work (like it is now) and they'll be at odds with their ideas and more than likely, Vince will side with Steph most of the time. This might not exactly de-push HHH at all, but it may lead to more fluctuation in the top tier as he won't have enough pull to hold down guys anymore. Guest jester Report post Posted April 7, 2003 The office has had a hard-on for HHH for years, wantiing to push him to the top well before he became involved with Stephanie, so there probably would still be some momentum for him after they broke up. Unless...Stephanie is vindictive and shares her father's pettiness for those who walk away. If that's the case, he'll be Rikishi's love slave.
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted April 7, 2003 No. Just to prove they aren't like that they would probably push him even harder.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted April 7, 2003 What would happen is this...initially they'd push him even harder just to make a point. BUT 6 months down the road when they need (lets say RVD) in the top spot, and HHH says, Nah, i shouldnt lose to him....id dare say Vince's response would be different than when he is the son in law. I think it also depends on what happens. if they drift apart and are still friends, hhh may still have clout. If she finds hhh in bed with his boyfriend one day, that might be a different story. NIKO YOU'RE NEXT HHH
Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 7, 2003 I can't see HHH ever cheating...Stephanie? Oh Yeah... Let's be real here...we hate them but it's true love with those two...Kinda gotta like that...

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 7, 2003 The only thing that would change is that Vince would be SLIGHTLY less blind towards everything HHH. Vince will still push him down our throats because he's been doing it since 1999/2000.
