Guest creativename Report post Posted April 9, 2003 He might be playing all of you by saying that he did do it...when he hadn't. Yeah, that definitely seems like his style...except Scots isn't even trying to work anybody with this. Scots clearly made no claim whatsoever to being Willie the Worker. He just wrote some random half serious/half parody thing and signed Willie's name to it. The styles weren't even remotely similar. Odd that Scots worked all of these people into thinking he was Willie, without even trying to do so. Wait does this mean that the IWC is I don't know...gullible? Just like all these people creaming themselves that Jericho and Goldberg had a "fight". What does Jericho-Goldberg have to do with this? That's been confirmed by numerous sources. I'm not quite sure what this proves...perhaps that the IWC tries too hard to dismiss stuff...? Maybe people are so eager to say "ha ha see only an idiot would've thought it was RVD, it's clearly this Scotsman guy" that they don't bother to check the story out. It certainly doesn't prove that the IWC is gullible, because most smarks are quite reluctant to accept this type of stuff; often too reluctant (not that I believe "Willie" is legit, I'm just saying in general). Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Whoever got fooled by that Willie scam should get their head examined.I knew it was a work from the getgo, i mean, wrestlers got better things to do(unless you are Lance Storm or Hurrijobber) than get into their laptop and write a stupid smarkish column for 1Bob.com . Are you sure? You don't seem llike the smartest brain the lab yourself. Wasent 75 % of us saying it was fake? You may be an expert in math, but grammar ain't yo' thang, mang! Exactly...I don't know how anyone would get the idea that from reading what Scotsman posted on his site means that he's Willie the Worker just because he put the name "Willie the Worker" as the author. If you actually read the article you can tell its just a goof. Here I'll write an article right now. "What is wrong with the WWE" by Willie the Worker HHH sucks. There you see I'm really Willie the Worker! Um, no, you're not. Were did we find this yahoo? Odd that Scots worked all of these people into thinking he was Willie, without even trying to do so. I just wanted something so I could segue into saying that I want to be shot if ever start saying "Scots" and "worked," especially when talking about non-wrestlers engaging in stuff that isn't on the TV. He had a good point and made it quite clearly. His point was that Scotsman writing a column and signing it as Willie is meaningless...which is true. As has been pointed out, it appears Willie was Hyatte.

"Why WWE Sucks Still" by Willie the Worker Kevin Nash sucks too. What a scoop!

Not to beat a dead horse, but Meltzer confirmed the first column as being legit and has yet to retract that. He has been writing his newsletter for 20 years now and people have tried to work him in every way imaginable. So it would be very strange for him to confirm it without some credible evidence for it being from a wrestler. He gets most of his inside info from phone conversations with the workers, so I'm guessing one of the wrestlers has led him to believe it is real, whether it is or not.
