DrVenkman PhD Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 It was originally thought that William Regal had an infectous disease contracted in India, but now it could be something else. Doctors now think he has a blood clot in his Inferior Vena Cava, which is cutting off circulation to his lower body. Even on blood thinning medication, it will be about 6-9 months before the clot is totally cleared. It is unknown when he will return to in ring action. credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Guest bob_barron Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 He's gonna be on Byte This this Friday- pray for the best
Guest tpww7 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Regal > Morley I don't agree with that. Regal has gotten real shitty over the last year.
cawthon777 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Regal > Morley I don't agree with that. Regal has gotten real shitty over the last year. Everyone can have a shitty year. One shitty year shouldn't erase the 9 years prior to that where he was over huge and one of the best wrestlers on the WWF / WCW roster.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 And there are some who don't think is year was that shitty. I'm honoured that for now I got to see his last appearance live.

Well I wasent refering to their whole careers, which Regal definetly had a better one. But I can't think of many good Regal matches since he came to the WWF. The last great Regal match I can remember is Benoit and him at the Pillman Memorial show.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 He hasn't had a lot of **** matches (well none) but I remember he had a great series with Jericho and had they given him and Tajiri enough time- they would've brought down the house
Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Regal was watchable when he was the WWF commisioner back in 2001, and i'm not a big fan of his matches but i agreed about him and Tajiri not being given more time to continue their angle.
Guest tpww7 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I agree, they blew the Tajiri-Regal feud big time. At least they got a 3 min blowoff match.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 They should bring back Regal in a Commissioner's role at some point. I usually do not like the Commissioner types, but I really enjoyed Regal's role as WWE Commissioner.

Guest razazteca Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Regal > Morley I don't agree with that. Regal has gotten real shitty over the last year. Regal has better verbal and acting skills. That face he makes and the word Besmirched are more over than anything Cheif Moley has done as an on air role outside the Val Venis character.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Aw man. Regal was a good promo guy. Does anyone notice that almost everyone getting injuried or that lately (with Angle being the exception as he took the Jho Surgery) are nearly all coming back around Wrestlemania 20?
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Regal and Coach would make a great Raw announce team.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Regal and Coach would make a great Raw announce team. YES! Perfect role for him. I still don't think we will see a combo as good as Gorilla and Jesse the Body any time soon though.
