Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Who started this phrase. It personifies the pissing and moaning of dipshits on message boards who can't deal with an offensive, opposing viewpoint - even if it's stated in a civil way. I love typing it, I love seeing it typed, and I say it in real life. Who do I owe it to so I can bend him over and eat his asshole. ........ OMG BAN PLZ~!
Guest Ravenbomb Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I feel one coming on... ...I don't know the answer... it's coming... here it comes... ... OMG GOD BAN PLZ~!!1
Guest Incandenza Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Evenflow was the first person I noticed to say it. Then I said it a couple of times, with Flyboy picking up on it. It took off from there. Flyboy will claim that he didn't get it from me, but we once had an AIM conversation that would prove otherwise. Too bad I don't save them. That said, I regret my part in it. It was amusing for awhile, but really, PLEASE STOP
Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 seriously guy...I say it ALL THE TIME and it amuses me greatly. I was in the supermarket buying canned tomatoes and they didn't have my contadina brand or something -and I was like this supermarket ought to be BANNED PLZ~!
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Is it really as bad as the rampant HHHate or INTENSE~! ?
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I have not seen INTENSE~! used for awhile now.
Guest EQ Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Who do I owe it to so I can bend him over and eat his asshole.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 OMG WTF?!? is better. Don't start throwing them out left and right though, the reason it's better is cause it's not overused.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Flyboy will claim that he didn't get it from me, but we once had an AIM conversation that would prove otherwise. Too bad I don't save them. I don't know what you're talking about. Sometimes I say "OMG BAN PLZ~!" in everyday life, and I start cracking up. I know, it's sad.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Sometimes I say "OMG BAN PLZ~!" in everyday life, and I start cracking up. I know, it's sad. Sadly...I do the same thing.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I also prefer WTF but BAN PLZ certainly has it's uses. I can't say them basically because I can't think of a good way to verbalize weird inital-words without vowels, nor do I want to.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 "Oh-umguh ban pulls! One!"
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 A better question; where did +1 come from and what does it mean? Don't answer with a +1, or an OMG BAN PLZ~! or a OMG WTF~!!! Oyveh.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 A better question; where did +1 come from and what does it mean? I don't know where it came from, but it means you have nothing else to add (or that the thread is extremely ghey) so you're just adding "+1" to your post count.
Guest eiker_ir Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 i don't know wheere it began but i love whenever someone says OMG BAN PLZ~!!11! and this post........ +1
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 where did +1 come from I am guessing it was probably started in the Mission to 1000 thread. I can't say them basically because I can't think of a good way to verbalize weird inital-words without vowels, nor do I want to. I just say it like "please" myself, though sometimes I will say "OMG~! BAN PEAS~!" which I find funny for whatever odd reason.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 OMG WTF?! I still don't remember starting this, but HHHey if that's what you want, I'm more than INTENSE~! enuff to hold down someone else by taking credit. Oh right... +1, and HISTORY OF ANNOYING BOARD PHRASES OUTSIDE OF THE HISTORY FOLDER~! BAN PLZ~!
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Just so there's no confusion, WTF is mine. Not that I invented it of course, but I popularized it, at a certain other board which was invaded.

Guest AM The Kid Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 I love them all, and sometimes use them in everyday use. Wow that is sooo depressing.
Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 proper way to say OMG BAN PLZ~! is "u-maga BAN pliz!!"
Guest MrRant Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 I say it how its written. O-M-G B-A-N P-L-Z - ~ - !
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 INTENSE~! is still used in the OaOasT...thats why we have a show called INTENSEzone
Guest cartman Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Since we're on the subject of where certain sayings on this board came from, someone wanna tell me what this "OH, TAG~!" is all about? I musta missed something
Guest bravesfan Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Since we're on the subject of where certain sayings on this board came from, someone wanna tell me what this "OH, TAG~!" is all about? I musta missed something From the March 18th, 2002 RAW, as reviewed by Scott Keith: - Meanwhile, Matt & Lita make out in the back, which disgusts the passing William Regal. Matt gets an eloquent verbal quip in (well, for a southern hick) and Lita goes “Tag!” to accentuate the point. Tag? What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Regal points out that they could end up on different shows. That's where "TAG!" was derived from, as the tildebang and foreword was later added on for dramatic effect. On a personal note, I swear she meant it not to "accentuate the insult", but to have used it as it's commonly used in the popular children's game (she did slap Regal on the shoulder, after she said it.)
Guest Flyboy Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Since we're on the subject of where certain sayings on this board came from, someone wanna tell me what this "OH, TAG~!" is all about? That's my trademark for the board, BTW.
