Guest evilhomer Report post Posted April 14, 2003 Viscera slipping on beer during a hardcore match That was more hysterical then sickening Anything involving Viscera is sickening
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted April 14, 2003 Rick Steiner breaking Buff's neck with a top rope bulldog was pretty nasty Wasn't it a Screwdriver that fucked up Buff?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 14, 2003 Nope...It was a Steiner Liner from Rick around 1998 on a Eps. of Thunder. Bagwell was out for good chunk of time and returned a major face but had a pretty nifty heel turn that same night and then become a Nuisence to The fans... I still shake my head when I think of those Flair "Legends" promos...Ya know he would go "You think you can match up with the greatest of all times? Anderson, Rhodes, Race, Sting, Blanchard, Hogan,Luger, Savage, Piper, Hart, Bagwell!" EVERYTIME he threw Buff Bagwell into that list...He would change the other legends around constantly but Bagwell was ALWAYS there. I was strongly thinking Russo finally made Flair senile. Does anyone know if there was a Purpose to that? was it a Rib, Inside Joke or just Flair madly in love with Bagwell?
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted April 14, 2003 I laugh my fuckin ass off everytime I think of that Flair promo simply because he pauses and spits out "BAGWELL!" like it's nothing.
Guest Pigsy Report post Posted April 14, 2003 ECW: Tony Mamaluke's guardrail sault...2nd row for that one, baby! ECW: Sabu busting his mouth on a table leg. Has to be seen to be appreciated. ECW: One of the Headhunter's pulled a Sid (broekn leg from coming off the ropes)...and you could hear the snap. Very sick! If we did ECW we could do all day. That reminds me, and I mentioned this in my analysis, Raven too a nasty bump with the back of his head on a table edge during The Pitbulls/Rave&Richards 2/3 falls match. Pitbull 2 had him on the 2nd rope to deliver a powerbomb through a table, but instead the back of his head smacked the edge of the table, I cringe whenever I see it. I recently saw that show. I'm surprised Raven wasn't knocked out - it looked really nasty. That reminds me of one of the TLC matches (I think it was the Mania 17 one), where Edge is on a table and Bubba powerbombs Jeff onto Edge through the table, which isn't too bad -only Bubba fucks up and powerbombs the back of Jeff's head and neck onto Edge. I'm not too sure if that was botched or whether Bubba was just too hyped up and being a total dick - he busted Matt Hardy open hardway with a ladder in the match too... Guest Pigsy Report post Posted April 14, 2003 I thought it was botched because normally wrestlers tend to take bumps on their backs, not the back of their heads.

Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2003 Chico Santana vs Warlord at WM8. Tito doesn't get enough air durring his backflip bump and rolls over on his neck. I'm assuming you mean against Barbarian at WM6.... I've always like the way he sold that. Hell, Barbarian looked like he hit that move flush... then again getting a top rope flying clothesline from a 320-pound behemoth like the that, getting flipped over and balled on the back of your neck SHOULD be a matter of course. Selling, schmelling. Too bad Kane's look so damn weak by comparison these days... only flying clotheline that compared was Taker's back in the day, and only because he jumped *up* so high... For true old school, we won't even talk aboutthe Masked Superstar's flying neckbreaker clothesline.. I still mark out for that move.
Guest Ascalon Report post Posted April 15, 2003 1) Sid leg break 2) The Jackknife Powerbomb of Doom by Nash on Show 3) Hayabusa-esque Shooting Brock Press...I spat out my beer for that one. Anyone remember The Barbarian almost stabbing Taker with his sword one time? LOL
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted April 15, 2003 Anyone remember The Barbarian almost stabbing Taker with his sword one time? LOL I think that was The Berserker. Anyway: Sickening WWE/WWF Bumps 1) Brock Lesnar's Shooting Star Press 2) Undertaker & Mick Foley - Chokeslam through the Hell in the Cell, complete with chair hitting Foley on the way down. 3) HHH - The debut of the Pedigree. Vince: "I think...yes...I think it's time for the PEDIGR..." [Jobber gets drilled onto his head] J.R.: "[completely shocked] OOOOH! OHHH! OOHHH!"
Guest MentallyNormal Report post Posted April 16, 2003 It wasn't sick, but it was funny. Sabu vs Flash Funk and then sabu tried to bust that table funk was lying on. He kept doing everything to bust it and in the end it didn't break the leg just gave out, then we see sabu storming out fling chairs at everyone.
Guest Jack Potts Report post Posted April 16, 2003 I remember one time on Nitro, Johnny the Bull did a leg drop onto the floor on (I think) Terry Funk and broke his pelvis or something and a bone chip went into his bladder, or maybe it was even his urethra. It didn't look that sick when the move was executed, but I didn't see the show until after I heard what happened and I don't think I've ever cringed that hard. Treble Charged: I think they sold it on TV as a broken hip, but about a year ago in Raw magazine, Stamboli admitted he didn't know he should pee before a match. When he went for the move, which was something relatively simple, like a cross-body block or a leg drop, he ruptured his urethra from the pressure on his bladder. Cringe-worthy, nonetheless though. I don't think they mentioned that on Tough Enough. Maven's bladder must be like a timebomb.
