What a performance...all of Canada congratulates you, Mike! Combined with Randy Ferbey winning the men's curling title, it was a good weekend for Canada in the 'boring' sports...

I bet CBS is ticked off though, since Tiger = ratings, but he was such a non-factor that they were forced to focus on Weir and Mataisse. Big props to Mataisse as well - the guy came from 9 down to end up in a playoff, and this was his first Masters as a pro to boot.

Earlier in the day, we won the World Curling championship, but since we win that one fairly often, it wasn't that big a deal. A Canadian had never won a major title in golf, though, so naturally, we're going to be a little excited.

Earlier in the day, we won the World Curling championship, but since we win that one fairly often, it wasn't that big a deal. Actually, a big deal was made of Canada losing the women's championship to the US. The flipside of this was that Colleen Jones seems to have a history at choking at the world curling championship, so maybe it's not that big a deal. OK, I guess we can go back to the boasting, bragging, and insulting in the Stanley Cup thread now...
