It's a really good film, showing just how far you can let things go if you don't stop to think about what you're doing. Oh and seriously if some of you still think Affleck can't act, watch this film with an open mind.

I thought he played the blind lawyer role much more convincingly than that of THE Daredevil.

However if it's a movie he's just doing for a paycheck, then he mails in his performances, which results in poor performances. From Tombstone...to The Saint; From The Doors...to Red Planet. Affleck has mainly done "paycheck movies" in his career so maybe he actually has talent, which has been hidden for much of his career.

It made such great promises for the rest of the movie only to have the nice little happy Hollywood ending slapped on at the end. If Jackson had pulled a gun out and blew away Afleck at the end of that movie, I'd agree with everybody. Best movie of the year. One of my favorites. But right now it's just an empty promise. A movie that was made to seem like it said something but in reality said nothing.

I thought the movie was about two guys forced to rexamine the lives they've led. And that the wreck was, in an ironc way, the best thing that could have happened to them. Great Movie

Daredevil was a huge letdown as well. That said, Changing Lanes was alright, but nowhere near as good as the reviews that it had received.

Could you back up your views with something a bit more... specific as to why you didn't like those movies?

Two men who managed to turn some part of their life around with each others help. The ending was actually refreshing since the predictable thing to do would have been for one of the characters to kill the other. The other one that burns me, and I know a lot of you are gonna jump here, is people who complain that Minority Report should've ended with A) Anderton killing Crow and Crow really being the kidnapper B) Anderton staying locked up or C) Lamaar killing Anderton at the end. The ending that's in the film works fine I feel and doesn't cheat or cop-out. The only disagreement I saw that I agree with was a comment made by Moriarty at AICN, he said the film originally was to end with a credit that said Over the next year 125 murders were committed in the D.C. area. That would've been kinda cool, it'd make you still ask if maybe Pre-crime wasn't so bad. But the more I watch Minority Report the more I love it, it's a lot like L.A. Confidential. That had a 'good ending' (well as good as it can have) and I never hear people complain about it.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Anderton making a big heroic return is my main problem with it. If they did a "happy ending" that didn't have Anderton making the heroic return, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.
