Guest wolverine Report post Posted April 14, 2003 It isn't something I'd recommend that you go out of your way to see. The heat was gone by this point, and Misawa was working nearly crippled. Kawada turns in a fine performance carrying this over ***, but there isn't much to get excited about here. It's fun as a novelty to see AJ run the Dome, but beyond that, this was a pretty underwhelming 'climax' to the greatest feud of the 90's. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As a stand-alone match I still thought it was very good but there is alot of better AJ stuff out there worth tracking down before this. EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2003 If any of you have seen the WM XIX match between Austin/Rock, I think WWE swiped the ending to this match, and pretty much the basis of the story. Rocky had never beaten Austin on the big scene, yada yada yada. So it took Rocky THREE Rock Bottoms like it took Kawada three powerbombs to win the big one.
