Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I'm on the West Coast so just now tuning into RAW and immediately they have to objectify us with a Kliq dick sucking contest. Hey aren't Booker and Jericho supposed to be in their match at Backlash? Wouldn't know it.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Yeah yeah.......it's 1996 all over again.....we knew that was coming.....history repeats itself.
Guest notJames Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Thank god I was talking to someone on the phone, so I wouldn't have to listen to the Clique Circle Jerk. So glad to see so many up-and-coming new stars in the Main Event. Yup.
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 Kliq promo and then Jericho plays 2nd fiddle to the troubles of Test and Stacy. Beautiful just beautiful. Sorry if this turns into a west coast Raw thread.
Guest jester Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I missed Raw. I was watching the hockey playoffs. I flipped over once just in time to catch Cliquestock 2003. Flipped back to Leafs/Flyers and never went back. I read the recaps though. I suspect next week the burial of Booker will be complete.
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 I always pick up a couple of spoilers on RAW before its shown here and already hearing about Booker I wish they had just had that match tonight and get the burial over with. I'll give HHH credit I thought he'd wait till the RAW after Backlash to do it.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 You know, I'd object to the Kliq, but I don't blame the WWE for using Kevin Nash, HBK or Triple H as they've got more overness than anyone else on the RAW roster. Sans Rock of course. ...oh wait. You mean that RAW wasn't brought to us by EWR? I certainly thought it had. I could've swarn that it was.
Guest razazteca Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Thank god I was talking to someone on the phone, so I wouldn't have to listen to the Clique Circle Jerk. So glad to see so many up-and-coming new stars in the Main Event. Yup. yup they are doing a good job with everybody's favorite super hero......Hurricane Notice how Chris Nowinski is a master debater Also Nash did a walk in and grabbed HHH's Sledgehammer while HBK was tuning up the band. Booker T gets a title shot next week and we all know how this will end up.
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 They really should never do another taped Rock promo with a live audience...it just doesn't work. He needs the live crowd to play off of for him to be at his best. Didn't they learn from Raw X?
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I was disappointed because I turned on Raw hoping to catch an RVD curtain-jerker. Instead I got Kevin Hash. I'll probably play some Smackdown: SYM now. that Nash is better in the ring than the real thing. Hell, the Diesel on the WWF Raw 16-bit games with half of the controller buttons broken is still better than the real thing.
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 When Rock leaves after Backlash I'd love to see Christian do a Rock-wannabe gimmick. Maybe have his finisher be the Born Again Elbow. Oh and a Goldberg/Goldust tag team wouldn't be terribly offensive.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I didn't watch this raw except for a few minutes every now and then. I saw, the beginning kliq circle jerk, a segment spamming shopzone that lasted what felt like 10 minutes, a skit where Stacy finds jackoff material in Test's bag, and the end of the main event where Nash casually walks down to the ring for a walk in. Of course I missed the only segment that sounded worthwhile in Goldberg/Goldust. For some reason the raw section of wwe.com never puts up videos either, so I won't be able to see it. I don't really feel bad about not really watching the show though.
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Also, Bobo, Steiner-Nowinski: The Great Debate was bad in a good way. Steiner's ramblings and the late 3MW ass beating amused me to great lengths. Your sig makes me pine for a musical version of The Incredible Hulk with Brock in the starring role singing a touching rendition of "It's not Easy Being Green."
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 The Steiner/Nowinski segment taught me that apparantly anti-war people are either Harvard educated or Samoan or gay. Anyways having a debate about the war is so one month ago and the war is essentially over now.
Agent_Bond34 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I missed Raw. I was watching the hockey playoffs. I flipped over once just in time to catch Cliquestock 2003. I missed Raw for that exact reason. Was it worth it to miss Raw?
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 I missed Raw. I was watching the hockey playoffs. I flipped over once just in time to catch Cliquestock 2003. I missed Raw for that exact reason. Was it worth it to miss Raw? The ground didn't open up and swallow the Kliq whole in the opening segment, so yes it was worth missing.
Bored Posted April 15, 2003 Author Report Posted April 15, 2003 You know I wonder why HHH just doesn't run away from Nash but is it possible Nash is just to damn sexy for HHH to run away from what he really wants? Oh and I've already predicted the finish for next week's HHH/Booker match. Nash interferes but accidently hits Booker to allow HHH win to create more CONTROVERSY~ for the 6-man, like anyone cares.
Guest Choken One Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 I know Politics are in the way but In a way...It's Pretty amusing of an Angle to sell... Just got make sure they remember about Jericho and Flair in the Match though.... Since they are going to do most of the work anyways... I really think those 6 guys are great with each other...Too bad they are blinded by Politics.... WWE-It's one giant Cock waving Affair.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 It just all seemed so gay.....Nash with his girl screams and HHH saying "You have to pick me or him......". It was all so homoerotic.
Guest Downhome Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Thus the countdown to Scott Hall returning...begins.
Guest Choken One Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Yeah...They really should've worded it better... HHH: Who will it be Nash? Whose Side are you on? His or Mine? Not HHH: We all love each other...Pick me or him, Kevey... The first doesn't sound Gay... Was this the first time Shawn didn't much word in edgewise...He never protested ANYTHING hunter said but just left his mouth open...
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Actually Shawn just stood there looking like a bitch the whole time.....not much different from how he normally looks...but this time he did it with his mouth closed! Man seeing all three of them in there like that.....I dunno....it was kind of surreal. I was like "Here's 2 guys are marked for in 96 when I was a mark and a guy who I semi-liked in 2000........if I was a mark I'd be creaming myself....but as of now I realize how shitty this is." It was weird seeing these guys I used to mark for and wanted to see return when I was still a mark......but now that they're back it's just an empty feeling.
Guest Choken One Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 There is an odd feeling watching those three in the ring together just talking...It kinda felt like we're watching all the things we've complained about for years right in our own... Hell, They even said some shit we've said... You can clearly see in their eyes that they know they being hated at that moment by a group of losers with a keyboard....and they are laughing at that... What was with Nash's voice? He used to sound Rough and Smooth (if that makes sense) tonight he was kinda High-Pitched "WHAT HAPPENED TO US MAN! We were good buddies man"... If they are smart they will whip out the MSG incident as an Indicator of their history... We Know Nash/HBK and HBK/HHH history but Nash/HHH never had a history....
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 One main problem. How many holdovers from 1996 are still around today? How many people in the crowd actually had a clue about the "clique" ?
Guest Choken One Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 a good Deal...That is where the magic of Video Packages come in Handy...
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 well the crowd didn't seem to be reacting to well to the segment once Nash was in the ring.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 What was with Nash's voice? He used to sound Rough and Smooth (if that makes sense) tonight he was kinda High-Pitched "WHAT HAPPENED TO US MAN! We were good buddies man"... I think Nash was secretly so happy that he didn't tear his quad again on the way to the ring that he just cried about it.
Guest That 1996 Guy Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Yeah yeah.......it's 1996 all over again.....we knew that was coming.....history repeats itself. Yay! Judgement Day!
Guest Johnson1620 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 well the crowd didn't seem to be reacting to well to the segment once Nash was in the ring. I don't know what RAW you were watching, but the crowd was poppin all night for Nash. It was great to have the clique back. Now if they can only keep Booker T from getting the belt next week then they will be back to their glory days.
Guest humongous2002 Posted April 15, 2003 Report Posted April 15, 2003 Nobody cares about Nash,HBK and HHHomo, the only pop they get is for their time entrance only. Vince is the biggest moron in the world for being such a mark for the Kliq.
