Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Damn, I didnt even notice he was still around otherwise I wouldnt have bothered offering. In reality, He'll probably go in the first round, ahead of Grossman. But the Ravens have said they wouldn't draft him with their #10 pick in the first round, they would either trade up for Leftwich or Trade down for Boller. I dont think hes the guy that can step in and be the starter this year, but at least they'll have someone down the road once the Redman experiment fails if they draft a QB this year. Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Boller and Gross is quality, if we were doing a real draft and you had any other decent picks in rounds 3-7 that would have the top draft this year.

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 25, 2003 I actually like Grossman better than Boller who I feel is the most overrated player in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if Green Bay takes one of them, even though they shouldn't.

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 26, 2003 With the 44th pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select DE Kenny Peterson from Ohio State. Kenny Peterson DE | (6-3, 298, 4.8) | OHIO STATE By Pro Football Weekly Notes: Top All-Ohio DL prospect out of high school. Has bulked up from 260 pounds to 275. Redshirted in 1998, saw limited action in '99, played a lot in 2000 and got his first two starts in '01 (vs. Penn State and Purdue). Had 15 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks in 2000 and had 24-6-3 in '01. Started 13-of-14 games in '02, making 43-9½-6 and two forced fumbles. Added approximately 18 pounds between final game and March 1. Did not do any workout at the Combine, but had a strong Senior Bowl showing. Positives: Relentless, has a very quick get-off and shows explosive quickness off the ball shooting to inside gaps. Has good awareness and football intelligence. Makes good use of his hands. Pursues well laterally and can change directions quickly and close fast. Agile, athletic player who rotates throughout the game. Has big upside and potential. Plays hard and disruptive and uses leverage in bull rush. Good athlete, explosive pass-rusher and playmaker. Very strong for his size. Can play inside. Negatives: Lacks size and BUTT to be an interior lineman. Has the production of a part-time player. Plays hard and has real talent, but the enigma is that production doesn't match. Summary: Talented tweener who seems to be putting it all together. Very talented, athletic player who has shown flashes of greatness.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 26, 2003 I'll give you my two Eagles picks for the 44 Kahran? Nope, Washington badly needs defensive help and Peterson is too good to pass up.

Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Jon Stinchcomb OT | (6-5, 302, 5.06) | GEORGIA By Pro Football Weekly Notes: Brother Matt Stinchcomb was the Raiders' first-round pick (No. 18 overall) in 1999. Jon was a high school All-American who also played basketball. Tore his left anterior cruciate ligament in '97. Came to Georgia in '98, the one year he and Matt were together on campus, and redshirted. Has started the past four years. Was a freshman All-American in '99 and a second-team All-Southeastern Conference pick a year later. Missed the last two regular-season games in '01 with a sprained left medial collateral ligament but still was an Associated Press All-SEC pick and second-team selection by the coaches. Was first-team All-SEC and won some All-America notice in '02. Positives: Very smart player with a great work ethic. Hard worker on and off the field and has fine weight-room numbers. Bench-presses almost 500 pounds and vertical jumps 35 inches. Gives top effort and is a competitor. A student of the game who does the extras. Technique and hand placement are excellent. Has foot quickness and above-average agility. Plays left tackle. Got his weight above 300 pounds in the fall and was measured as such at the Combine, where he ran well. Gets by on hand placement and technique. Takes good angles. Never crosses his feet. Under control on the second level. Negatives: Lacks natural size and strength. Gets bull-rushed, rag-dolled and walked back to the quarterback too often. Does not play to his weight-room numbers and can't translate his weight-room strength to the field. Light in the backside and has problems anchoring. Summary: Great technician, much like his brother, but his lack of functional football strength keeps him from being a top prospect. May be a better fit at center or guard than tackle.
