Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 17, 2003 Yeah, my PS2 broke down last week and I sent it to Sony to get fixed. They fixed it totally for free, and it's already on it's way back to me via FedEx. Sony made me an even bigger fan of this, not only for fixing it for free, but also for fixing it for me quick as hell. So, I bought four more PS2 games today... 1) Amplitude 2) Dynasty Warriors 4 3) Pride FC Fighting Championships 4) X2: Wolverine's Revenge ...I'll post my thoughts on them when I can actually, you know, play them but untill then, what do you guys think of these games? Oh yeah, by the way... ...this week Toys R Us are running a special, buy two PS2 games and get one for free as long as it's either the same price, or less, than the other two. Also, at Software Etc.../GameStop, they have the same deal for all of their used games, and you can mix and match between systems. Then finally at Best Buy, you can buy any two PS2 Greatest Hits, for only $25. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted April 17, 2003 Amplitude = Greatness. That's the only one I've played of those.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 17, 2003 Amplitude = Greatness. That's the only one I've played of those. I never even played Frequency, so I don't really know what to expect with this one. I did like games like Mad Maesto (I think I'm the only one) and Space Channel 5 1 & 2 however.

I myself picked up SOCOM: US Navy Seals, Amplitude, and PrideFC from Toys R Us and a used copy of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

I myself picked up SOCOM: US Navy Seals, Amplitude, and PrideFC from Toys R Us and a used copy of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Small world, heh. I got my tax money back recently, and it's been burning a hole in my pocket. Hell, I might go back and "do the deal" once again, maybe with the GH's or the $39.99 bunch. I'm saving some of my money however, as I am buying Ultimate Muscle when that bad boy comes out. I have all this money for now, and there isn't a single GameCube game I want that I don't already have, while there are still a lot of games for the PS2 I really REALLY want. Guest Blue Bacchus Report post Posted April 17, 2003 Dynasty Warriors 4 = Greatest Koei Game Ever (well besides Rot3k VII) Truly the best of the lot that you bought. Edit: So I went over to TRU after work today to see what they had and I left with PTO IV, Wolverine's Revenge and DefJam Vendetta. I may return Wolvie's Revenge. Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 The only game out of that lot I have played is Pride FC Fighting Championships, and that game rules.

Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Frequency = greatness. I've heard Ampltiude is better in some ways but worse in others (re: Blink 182 being there), so as to which game being better, Amplitude or Frequency, is a toss up. Course, that means both games rule all.
