Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 That announcer has said "this is the greatest victory in the history of the Spurs organization" like 10 times in the past month
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted May 16, 2003 He's right this time. Nobody expected them to win this. Instead they blew the Lakers out and dominated them and killed them. Put their boot on their neck and choked them out. I've been in a bad mood for two days in a row but I'm finally over it now!
Bored 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2003 Ding dong the Lakers are dead. Here's a key thing for everyone overrating the win for the Spurs though...they were #1 seed and Lakers were the #5 seed. I don't give a shit if the Lakers have a won three straight titles they underachieved and were overrated all season long. But anyways goodbye to the Lakers and the NBA regular season still means something after all.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 16, 2003 If it was someone like Karl Malone who just lost his last good chance at winning a title, then fine he can cry and I'd have no problem with it. There's no reason for players coming off 3 titles to cry about it. They are crying about not winning a fourth ring. I'm sorry but that is not going to gain anyones sympathy and you do come out looking like a spoiled kid who gets mad when someone dares to beat them.
