Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted May 10, 2003 That was the Laker team that no one wants to play. All the starters in double figures, Kobe taking control of the game. Shaq played it perfectly, dishing off the ball early and picking up the assists, then taking it himself when they had to stop doubling him. Shaq taking it coast-to-coast was awesome. I'm liking Mark Madsen more and more and in this game he really made the most of his minutes and brought so much energy to the team. Horry's defense was much better than it has been, and George played very well, even if he wasn't injured I would have called it a very good game for him. The Spurs need their starters to pick it up big time. Other than Duncan's 28, the high scorer of them was Jackson's 9, then the others scored 4, 3, and 2. They weren't rebounding or giving the assists very well either. Rose and Claxton had good games off the bench and should see some more time next game. Guest Crazy Dan Report post Posted May 10, 2003 The problem with the Lakers this year is that they run hot and cold. They have been very inconsistant with their play in the playoffs this year. If you look to the Wolves series, they would have a real awesome game, then play a really bad the next one. So I am eager to see Game four. It is a vital game for the Lakers that is for sure. As for the Kings, I would not give up yet. The Mavs shot the lights out, but I am having doubts that they will match that shooting again. Van Exel has proven that he can go for a lot of points one night, and the next one be completely out of it. I still think that the Kings have a great bench and Keon Clark will be able to step it up as the Starting Power Forward. I do think it is vital for players like Bibby, Peja, Christie and the rest to pick up the slack. Also, mad props to Jackson for toughing it out. I have been elbowed in that same area before, and you better believe it that it hurts like a bitch. Should be a great Game 3.

Guest Crazy Dan Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I caught the Sacto-Mavs game... Great Game. Bummer the Kings lost, but Dallas was the better team tonight. Interesting to see how much these two teams have in their tank for tomorrow's game. I am hoping the Maz's cool down. If their offense plays like this for the rest of the playoffs, they could very well win this all. Should be a great day of basketball on Sunday. Go Kings. Guest alkeiper Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Thank goodness their game tonight is a late game. Good for me too. I get out of work at 8, and I'll still catch 2 games.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Keon Clark was a motherfucking beast when he was with the Raptor. I don't know how they let him get away. Chris Webber is a talented playeer and he's a god player, but that doesn't translate to being a winner. I don't see him winning an NBA championship.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Van Exel put in 40 off the bench. I'm thinking that Mavs team is too deep to lose to a Webber-less Kings team 3 of 5 games.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 11, 2003 well here is Game 4 of Spurs vs Lakers, which team will show up today. The crazy inconsistent shooters or the rebounding blow out defense team. Bill Walton: BRING IT DOWN BIG GUY Well it looks like home field advantage is in effect for the series, lucky for the Spurs that they have the better record. Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 (edited) Tim Duncan just gave Fisher a elbow at the end of the half. Yeah that means that their not soft. EDIT:That's the game. Lakers are going to lose. When Kobe gets his fourth foul on a bullshit call like that one, it's over.
