I was being facetitous. Did you ever see that Billy Crystal movie where he's a ref and has a nervous breakdown and just start Ting up everyone, including fans and the other refs?

well don't, it sucks. But these refs are crap.

Now that I think of it, has there been a series in the playoffs yet that hasn't had at least one game marred by heinous officials?

ok, don nelson was told to sit down, he stared the ref down and got thrown out for his troubles.

del harris walked way too far onto the court and was immediately ejected.

both were warranted. the technicals on all of the players were not however but more importnatly, the spurs are hitting the throws and the refs are allowing the teams to play. plus, no hack-a-bowen!!!!

I think I remember that movie, I bet TNT will put it on constant repeats soon. New Classics my ass.

Ahh, Forget Paris.

Duncan with his fourth...

with the way dallas jumps and the refs are calling this game, pop should have left duncan in.

it could bite them in the ass. thankfully, malik is a monster tonight. guess that knock in the head in game 1 pissed him off.

there is about 5 minutes left and the Spurs are going to blow it again :(

Guest goodhelmet

they might not blow the game but they are definitely blowing their leads. the run begins.

bitchfest- why the fuck is danny ferry in the fucking game? whenever he appears, the team loses their leads and quick. keep his ass on the bench.

Tim Duncan & David Robinson cannot play 40 minutes, Mr MVP needs his rest.

Guest goodhelmet

bullshit, in must win games, you play 48

david can't but danny ferry is not the answer

do not answer to dallas's lineups. make them answer to yours. ferry is not a threat. the first 9 on the roster are.

well its Ferry or Willas as backup Center or go small line up.

Guest goodhelmet

willis would have been a fine addition.

then ferry has to fuck up an inbounds pass to throw off my sleeping patterns and extending the game unnecessarily.

why does a double digit win feel like a loss?

What do you expect from a "soft team"

Did Dallas steal one in San Antonio?

The refs are making difficult to enjoy this series. Way to many fouls and whistles.

Guest Dangerous A

Agreed about the officiating. Game 1 was three hours with both teams being whistled for 36 fouls each. There is such thing as too much officiating.

BTW, mark this down, DA says that this series is tied before Memorial Day.

Guest goodhelmet

it is true. the series is tied right now. your prediction is correct.

Brain fart. I should've worded better.

This series will be tied up after game 4.

I went to work today and I saw Joey Crawford, the lead official in last night's game. After we made eye contact, he immediately gave me a "T" and threw me out.

Let them play for crying out loud. People want to see a new champion crowned, not the reality version of Forget Paris!

What's next, My Giant 2?

"it could be worst" Whoopi Goldberg could be coaching Juawanna Man in the playoffs.

The ref decisions has been bad through out the playoffs.

I'm still waiting for Little Bow Wow or Lil' Romeo (whatever) to lace up his sneakers for the Spurs and be Like Mike.

The only question remaining is who will face the Nets in the Finals. Hopefully San Antonio and Dallas will provide SOME sense of competition. This Net/Piston series has been very disappointing.

After what I saw tonight, I think the Nets might win the championship. The reason they got swept last year was because no one on their team could handle Shaq and Kobe was being Kobe. Neither the Spurs or Mavs has a wing player like Kobe, Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin are a lot better than they were last year, and only Tim Duncan presents Shaq-like problems. This is the Nets' year.

The Nets are going to experience a rude awakening if they end up playing the Spurs in the Finals. Why? It's just a gut feeling. The most they'd win against San Antonio is two (most likely with both wins in NJ until game 6, Spurs have had trouble in NJ); if it's Dallas, I'd give the Nets a shot.

Some might bring up the Spurs' ability to blow big leads; while I haven't seen -- or know much about NJ -- unless they can score in bunches (Suns and Dallas) or jack up 3s no matter what (Kobe and Dallas), then the Spurs will beat them in 6.

The competition in the West is far superior. Know some might say Dallas and San Antonio will wear themselves out. IMO...that won't happen. Look at the Detroit series. Detroit had to give away two 4th quarter leads, and Kidd made an off balance game winner to win Game 1. Besides Game 3, it's not like New Jersey has runover a offensively weak team that has one of its best scorers not at full strength.

I think if the Spurs meet the Nets then the Spurs will win. But if the Mavs and the Nets play it'll be the most exciting finals since Boston/LA in the 80's.

If that's the second is the case, then I'm going with the Nets.

As much as I like Kidd and the majority of the Nets players, I hope they don't win the title because Byron Scott is a dick. That dude is just a joke and he should join Michael Cooper on the coaching staff for the Sparks.

Byron Scott was a hell of a player and he is turning out to be a pretty damn good coach. From the games I have watched the Nets play this year they remind me alot of the 80's Laker's team that he was part of. That is definatly a good thing.

So what's your problem with Byron anyway Polish?

Guest Polish_Rifle

Without Jason Kidd that team is nothing. He is the glue that keeps them together not Byron. Byron is nothing but a whiny bitch!

Besides, he was a former Laker that got all the referee favoritism calls along with Magic and the rest of the Laker crew in the 80's that should have bowed down to the Celtics.
