Boston has a lot of famous places so if you're looking to see a lot of famous places, it'd be your best choice. If you're looking for heat and bodies, Miami's the best. New Orleans is a fun party city too. Don't know much about Toronto though, sorry.

Boston, historically, Miami for the beaches and weather and all that pertains to that, New Orleans, don't bother.

Your plaining to go to all those cities? How much money do you have? Those are long hikes between all of them.

No matter what you do, atleast go to NY, Boston and DC. Other than that, never been to them so I can't give input.

Philly is also really nice, and for what it's worth, so is Baltimore.

If you really want to have fun, go to all those cities, but instead of hanging out there, find all the little shit towns about an hour outside the city where all the waitresses and factory workers live. That's america.

Ps - St. Louis, Memphis, and Orlando suck, no offense to anyone who may live there.

St. Louis has that huge ass mall (and rollercoaster inside of it). Orlando has Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Disney World (MGM, Animal Kingdom, etc.), Sea world, and other stuff.

Memphis has pretty much nothing at all worth seeing. Go to Nashville instead. It's the country music capital or some shit.

Toronto is OK, but nothing special, except for the FAB exchange rate from US to Canadian money. I'd go to Boston.

heh.

I should clarify about Orlando. It's full of stuff to do, but the problem is it's about 70% tourists and 30%...um...Orlandians. Lame.

Miami sucks. Don't come here unless you speak Spanish and have a tendency to want to go to nightclubs with overly attractive latin women being bitchy, and LOTS TOO MANY ghetto people around here.

Go to New Orleans, awesome place.

Only go to Boston if you like the literature of HP Lovecraft. Otherwise, stay the fuck away. It's a part of New England, the HEART of New England (geographically and politically), and New England weather changes every 2 hours.

No, Orlando blows. There's no excusing it.

Don't miss Chicago. Also: Madison, Wisconsin is a very very nice city.

Boston (and New England in general, no offense to any who live there) isn't too terribly exciting, unless you're interested in American history, in which case there are a lot of Revolution-era monuments and such. Personally, I don't go travelling for history lessons. Unless it was grade school and it was a field trip.

I'd recommend New Orleans, but that might be just because I'm a fan of jazz music and am mildly interested in the voodoo culture, both of which I'd like to hope are still a part of New Orleans. I'll never know of course, because I've never been there, and probably won't be able to go for some time, if ever. But that's where I'd go.

to the guy who asked about money its looking at costing me 10 thousand pounds or 15 US dollars for 6 months(thats if they give me a Visa) and i'm saving every month out of my pay check so i'm looking at the end of next year or the beggining-mid of 2005 which is quite a way away but its easier if i can get my route planned so i can budget the money accordingly the hotels are gonna be what kills the budget.with Greyhound it will cost me roughly 800 to do the route i planned with like 7 days in total travel but thats spread over 6 months.

i'm leaning towards New Orleans-Boston is from what i hear a historical town and i'm more into partying and i do love some good old Jazz.

Thanks for all your help guys

I'd recommend Cleveland myself (at least if it's during the summer). You've got the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, a ton of museums if you're interested in that sort of thing, and it's about an hour's drive from the American Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Of course, I'm biased, so...

Yeah retards and socialists are often crawling around State Street. But otherwise it's a beautiful town, just sit on the shore of Lake Mendota and relax on a nice day. Then go out and get bombed.
