Movies where you wanted to see the bad guy win

Mine would have to be Con Air. Malkovich potrayed such a cool heel that it was impossible not to like him,IMO.

Also Denzel Washington in Training Day for the same reasons mentioned above.

I'm always rooting for the villains. That's just the kinda guy I am.

The one exception I can think of is Phone Booth. I didn't so much want the sniper to be brought to justice, but I wanted Colin Farrel to make it out of that alive.

Mask of the Phantasm

Phantasm was hot. And seeing the Joker get what's coming to him would have been an interesting departure.

Minority Report.

I thought it would have painted a far more pessimistic future, which I always love in sci-fi films.

I think everyone was literally SCREAMING at Pacino to look at his security monitors when the hit squad was coming to take him out in Scarface. No one wanted to see Tony die.

Unfortunately for him and understandably, he was too busy with his entire head buried in a mountain of cocaine on his desk. So it's all good. At least he went out like a champ and gave us one of the most quoted lines from gangster movies EVER when he burst outta his office with that grenade launcher.

NOW that's how you die!

Put me down for Minority Report as well.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Not so much that I thought Burgess should have got away with it. But I thought he should have killed Anderton to prove that pre-crime works. Then he could have killed himself or get haloed or whatever.

As for Heat, I thought that was the perfect ending.

Exactly my thought.

I would say Se7en, but I gues you could say that the villian DID win.

Same thing with The Usual Suspects.

Anybody else see the irony with these two movies?

That would have been great, Tunney.

I wanted Robin Hood to get his ass kicked. How awesome was the Sheriff of Nottingham in that movie? Heel gold. He should have thrown Costner out a window.

Truth or Consequences, N.M.- Not a popular movie, but I wanted to see them escape the DEA and the mafia.
