Guest Trivia247 Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 # Los Chihuahuas, the masked tag team who wrestled Team Angle at last night's Velocity taping, were actually former WWE developmental talents Christian York and Joey Matthews. WWE officials were said to be very impressed with their performance and a contract offer may soon be forthcoming. wow if they come back and get On Air roles....the The NC Crew will be complete... York & Christian, Helms & Moore and The Hardy Boys.. All started in the NWA Midatlanatic in NC together.
Guest HHH123007 Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 I'll only be happy about that if they keep the name "Los Chihuahuas"...
Guest bob_barron Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 What's your source? All the spoilers I read said the match was awful

Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 They're a good team, I'd like for them to get signed. They suffer from Reckless Youth syndrom though. They would have been considered very good and very innovative when they broke into the business and a little while after...but the spotmonkeys of today have turned it up way too much so that solid workers only look okay compaired to this other shit. Did that make any sense?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 If you're saying that York and Mathews are good, solid workers, then I'm afraid I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. However, I'd be a lot more forgiving if they wore retarded masks and called themselves Los Chihuahuas.

Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 Both York and Matthews showed me some talent through their XPW singles matches. I had been impressed with them previously, but their stuff in XPW was different. Matthews played a pussy heel one show, and when the crowd wanted him to tag in Zebra Kid while he was fighting Jerry Lynn, the crowd was chanting, "Tag the Fag." So Joey tagged Lynn... And as for York, while nothing ever came out of it because of XPW's financial shit, he cut a real nice promo talking about his career in the sport and how he was going to excel in XPW. Real nice stuff. They definetly do suffer from the Reckless Youth syndrome, but unlike RY, York and Matthews both have good builds and looks. It'll be nice to see them get signed.
Guest HHH123007 Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 the crowd was chanting, "Tag the Fag." I wish the the WWE fans were like that...
