Russo's got the right idea there. The fans were completely sick of Jarrett, and making him look really really strong wouldn't help anything. I'm still hoping he jobs to Raven, but then again, I'm biased because I'm a major Raven mark.

When was Nashville NOT giving Jarrett props? He's like Jerry Lawler in Memphis, he could murder a child in the ring and still get a pop.

The problem with Russo booking Jarrett like an Austin character is just that.......he's using someone else as a template and then you get comparisons which are accurate, example, Booker T in 2000 WCW and the Rock in 99 WWF. Jarrett shows enough vulnerability in his character in that he's not just running rampant.......he's being booked pretty fair considered his position in the company, IMO.
