Guest HBK16 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Alright so Im driving to my girlfriend's house yesterday. My windows are rolled down. Im actually doing the speeding limit. Well I do in her town cuz cops are dicks around there. Anyways, Im driving and I see this bird flying in my direction on the right side of my car. So hes getting closer and closer and thinking he was going to fly higher to avoid me. Well he doesnt and he ends up flying right through my window. Its going insane flying back and forth running into everything. It was smakcing me in the face. So I start to freak out and try to bat it away disregarding the fact that my hands are still on the steering wheel. So the car hits the curb, jumps it and Im riding on the curb for a few seconds. Other drivers back off of me thinking Im insane. I get my car back in control and I pull up to a red light. All the drivers around me are looking at me. Finally the bird flys out the window again and I notice everyone laughing at me. I swear it was a horrible experiece. I thought I was gonna hit something. Guest evilhomer Report post Posted April 21, 2003 I've always watched birds do that diving shit in front of cars and wondered if it's some kind of "extreme sports" for birds. I had something like that happen to me once with a hornet. I pulled over and killed the little bugger and moved on. Remember when in doubt, unless you've got a huge truck in behind you, the safest thing to do is pull over and stop. BTW, check your tires and alignment.
