Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted April 19, 2003 So on the Saturday morning SportsCenter, they ran a viewer feedback session after showing the Top 10 moments in NBA Playoffs first round history. Their No. 1 choice was Jordan over Ehlo in May '89. As a Clevelander who is thoroughly sick and tired of seeing that six or seven times EVERY YEAR, I decided to give ESPN a piece of my mind. "I'm coming to Bristol and I'm finding that footage of Jordan over Ehlo. When I find it, I'm going to burn it. If I never see that shot again, it will be too soon." Dave Revsine read my remarks on TV, then added "Lock all your doors and alert the authorities... Tom is on his way." SportsCenter has met The Standard. GOLD, baby. Guest JHawk Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Good job Tino! I'm fucking sick of that goddamned footage, especially since Cleveland hasn't had a shot in hell since that shot!
Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Congratulations! Add me to the Clevelander list whose sick of Jordan over Ehlo. I'll distract the security guards!
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2003 ::smirks:: I feel bad, but I cannot help laughing as Ehlo collapsed to the deck as if he'd been shot after Jordan hit the jumper... Be glad he retired, as he has made the Cavs his personal bitches since hitting that shot.. Mind you I'm not a Jordan mark, but it DOES amuse me, just like how all the people up here in Detroit are pissing and moaning that the Red Wings got beat down.... Note that it will probably be my turn to bitch if the Magic get beat by the Pistons.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Jordan gave Ehlo a Van Damn like kick for the win.
Guest JHawk Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Rendclaw, have you seen a Cavs game recently? They're the new Clippers, which makes it even more fucking ridiculous that they still show that footage.

Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 19, 2003 This is still the greatest play Jordan ever made, IMO. The shot against Utah meant more because it was for the title. But Jordan looked like he was suspened in midair when he took the shot. Sorry Cavs fans.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Bah, all of you silly Cavs fans are just bitter. It's more Cleveland sports fans are so bitter . . . we have a right to be! The thing that sucked most about that Jordan shot was that there was nothing more Ehlo could have done to prevent that shot from going in other than kicking him in the nuts (Of course the shot probably would have gone in anyways, but the celebration would have been a bit delayed). Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2003 ::just cracks up:: Ahem. only if the owner of the Cavs will not dedicate money to making the team better (through trades and signing their good (cough) draft picks), can they be considered the Clippers East. Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted April 21, 2003 This is still the greatest play Jordan ever made, IMO. The shot against Utah meant more because it was for the title. But Jordan looked like he was suspened in midair when he took the shot. Sorry Cavs fans. The shot against Utah? Hey, everybody... HE CHEATED. When Jordan was dribbling the ball and Russell was on him, watch closely the next time ESPN shows it (which you won't have to wait long for, because they love to give Jordan as many BJs as possible), Jordan CLEARLY pushes off to get himself open. Yeah, nice shot, but when you SHOVE the guy to get yourself that wide open, then sorry, someone should call a foul. Anybody in the league not named "Jordan" tries that, they get whistled, end of story. And as for that shot in '89, that wasn't the death knell of the Cavs, but it definitely hurt. The Cavs were 5-0 against the Bulls that year AND had home court in the first round against them. Chicago shouldn't even have been an issue. The REAL end of respectability for the Cavs was in 1992. That team made the Eastern Conference Finals and took the Bulls to six games (some people call the 91-92 Bulls the team they ever had during their big run). If Michael f'n Jordan doesn't exist, the Cavs are in the NBA Finals that year, possibly champions because Portland and Utah didn't scare me one bit. But alas, that asshole had to show up for Chicago and shit on our shoes. It's been all downhill for the Cavs since.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted April 21, 2003 it was a lightly push, which russell tried to start his acting career.
Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted April 21, 2003 it was a lightly push, which russell tried to start his acting career. I live in the Chicago suburbs. Jordan pushed off, even in my opinion. Not much argument from me, which means it ain't much of an opinion. It's a fact. Jason
