Guest Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 First of all I know this isn't the right page but I wanted to know some stuff and this is the one with the most perople. I want to train to be a pro wrestler any really good schools especially in the Philadelphia or Myrtle Beach areas. Even if not in those areas do you have any good suggestions on what you've heard are the best in the nation? What schools are total ripoffs too? Also are these schools any good ----- Larry Sharpe's Monster Factory Killer Kowalski's school http://www.killerkowalski.com Chaotic training center http://www.chaotictc.com/ Afa's Wild Samoan School http://www.wildsamoan.com And one last thing.....Afa's school says he has the only Vince McMachon approved school in the world is that true? I also never thought Afa was suppsoed to be a good wrestler so how can make claims that he's the top teacher of pro wrestling in the world? Thanks for all your help guys.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 The Ohio Valley Wrestling school is supposed to be good. And you'll get more exposure if you get on OVW, than just about any other indy.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I found this site on the web. Don't know if it will do oyu any good though.... http://www.saturdaynightslam.com/wrestling_schools.html
Guest teke184 Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I think that site is a BIT out of date, as the friggin' Power Plant is still listed on there. Color me confused, but didn't it shut down when WCW was bought out?
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I didn't look at the names of the schools just where they were located for our aspiring wrestler here. But yeah, the power plant is toast.
Guest Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU LAD , SCHOOL IS WONDERFUL ADVENTURE , AN INSTITUTION OF LEARNING THAT WE ATTEND FOR SEVERAL YEARS.SOME WERE MADE OF BRICK , OTHER MORE MODERN ONES MADE OF STONE.IN THESE WONDERFUL BUILDINGS YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT MATH, ENGLISH AND EVEN SAMPLE THE TASTE OF OTHER WORLDS BY LEARING A NEW LANGUAGE!!!
Guest One Bad Apple Posted March 24, 2002 Report Posted March 24, 2002 I don't know that much about how good any of them are, but I believe the fee for Killer Kowalski's (which I think's around the average asking price for many others) covers a lifetime of training.
Guest JMTapes Posted March 24, 2002 Report Posted March 24, 2002 The Chaotic Training Center in actually in the town I live in. It must be really good, because a lot of talented guys who work for Chaotic Wrestling have come out of there that I've seen. -Jim www.jmtapes.com
Guest Stupendous Man Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 Kowalski trained HHH, Chyna, Saturn, and Albert, among others. So, if your goal is to hold everyone down by stiffing jobbers and dancing around like an idiot, followed by a "successful" movie "career," Killer's your man.
