Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 20, 2003 Goldberg was none too pleased about doing the segment with Goldust on RAW Monday night. Apparently Goldberg questioned the decision to put the blonde wig on his head, but was later talked into it by management. Goldberg has been telling people backstage that he is extremely frustrated with the way the company has used him thus far Geez he has been misused of all of 3 weeks..... POOOOOOOOOOOR Goldberg! Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted April 20, 2003 Because putting a wig on someone, and making them look like a goof, really makes them seem tough.

JasonX 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2003 Stupid comedy is why Angle cant draw and now they are doing the same rubbish with Goldberg. Not really. If anything Angle, while having his character have a humor/comedy twist to him drew more than bald and boring Robo-Angle. Removing that aspect from his character rendered him boring and one-dimensional and no longer a draw.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted April 20, 2003 He was on Byte This, Friday; he said he loved the segment. Something about showing a different side to him. Yeah, but he also said he wasn't in it for the money--after holding out for so long and waiting to get a big money contract and creative control. What Goldberg says and what he does is completely different.

Yeah, but he also said he wasn't in it for the money--after holding out for so long and waiting to get a big money contract and creative control. What Goldberg says and what he does is completely different. Every wrestler is two-faced. Remember how everyone said it was great that Goldberg was coming in but they were then bitching about his attitude? Plus, you know they're two-faced since everyone complains under anonymity about HHH's stuff, but when asked flat-out they're like, "Oh, yeah, it was great." Watch a mainstream media interview with any wrestler and they always put HHH over.

That's the weakest cop out excuse WWe fan boys use. You know WHY they didn't have those big name guys for Invasion? Because Vince was being cheap and simply didn't offer them enough to accept their Time Warner contract buy outs which were low balled. So Vince and WWE is completely 100% responsible for Invasion flopping horribly no matter how you try spinning it.

I agree that some of the jobs he took as well as some of the more embarassing stuff (why did HHH have to pull his tights down?) didn't help, but he was f'n hysterical doing his goofy stuff. I still remember things like the tiny motorscooter and the cowboy hats and stuff. And FWIW, I completely stopped caring for Kurt during his serious run in 2001. Guest raptor Report post Posted April 21, 2003 I would not have given half a shit about Angle unless he endeared himself to me being funny. He's over, a top guy, and everybody agrees that the WWE is even shittier since he's gone. I think he's doing okay, so stop crying about it.
