Before complaining to Vince McMahon and The Rock himself, Nash first spoke to Shane McMahon about the comment. The reason Nash was upset was because the comment wasn't scripted and it is a courtesy among wrestlers to clear insults with wrestlers before actually using them. Nash was also upset because he feels that his character wouldn't just stand there and take an insult like that and that his character would storm the ring in retaliation, something that wasn't in the script for Nash's character. There was some talk among the wrestlers backstage that Rock may have intentionally tried to anger Nash because of some things Rock believes Nash said about him in WCW "needed a receipt Still more excuses and whining by Nash

If anyone's going to the show on Monday, be sure to work a BigDaddy Bitch chant in once Nash appears.

According to these former co-workers, while Nash was working for WCW, he used to boast that if he ever returned to the WWF, he would break from the script and refer to Rock as a bitch.
