Don't disillusion yourself, homey. This isn't a forum for pro wrestling discussion. One day you'll learn that what you see on TV right now from the WWE isn't pro wrestling.

 

Sorry if my foul language offends you, I'll try to dumb it down next time.

 

I (for the record) do not think my opinion is the gospel. I like a lot of very good wrestlers. There are some wrestlers that I like that aren't very good at all, but like I've said before, I don't disillusion myself about what role wrestling plays in my life. The WWE used to play quite a large role. It's role now barely registers a blip on the radar that is my life. I've found much happier things to occupy my time, like old All Japan matches, downloading Ring of Honour matches and watching my Best of Cactus Jack in ECW DVD.

 

But I can't let the WWE die like this. It's cemented it's place in my heart due to childhood memories. Fuck, do you think I LIKE standing by and watching a piece of my childhood go to shit!? Do you think I enjoy seeing Chris Benoit being treated like a second-rate worker when he is the best thing they've got going for them?

 

The answer, obviously, is no. I don't like this. Bitterness is not something I relish, nor crave. It sickens me to the point of mental torture on how good the WWE could be but how they choose not to be. Why it doesn't do the same to you, I'll probably never understand.

And no, I don't like, nor understand how you can enjoy the CURRENT product. Shit, I like certain matches but I can't stand idly by and allow somebody to be content with all the shit that is thrown at them. In the end you'll realize that Me and Rudo are trying to do you a favour.......

YOU and many others on this board seem to be very happy with the way things are going in wrestling and I can't speak for others but watching you type these types of threads is fucking disgusting to me, as a wrestling fan and as a person in general.

 

First of all, you're taking all this shit way too seriously if it makes you feel that way about someone.

 

Secondly, we're not very happy about wrestling right now, we do see its faults and we bitch about it just as much as you all do. We just see the good side as well, and while you may not see it, we do and that's why we keep watching. Call it lower standards, call it different tastes, whatever you want.

I understand what you are WANTING to do, but by putting down myself, and others like CC, is not helping anything. It's only making this place look like you can't have an opinion unless it's the popular opinion. I'm all for things changing, but I am not strong enough to boycott WWE myself. I've tried to offer my help in coming up with ideas and putting things together, but so far, it's not really been accepted.

I don't know about you guys but I love it when the product is really bad. I don't just watch for wrestling, I watch for the wrestling fuck-ups and the wrestlecrap. The Katie Vick angle was a time of exciting activity within the IWC because so many people were blowing their lids at how bad the show has become and how they'd stop watching forever. It's that huge burst of emotion and activity that entertains me. Call me a sadist, but when things are bad, I like to watch to see how they can get worse.
