Guest cynicalprofit Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 This might need to be moved, but its based on the idea of current events. What event would need to occur in order for you to think the world was going to end? Like within 48 hours of said event.
Guest Mad Dog Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Speaking from a Chrisitians prespective you won't know till it happens. There are events described that are supposed to signal the end times are coming but those will most likley be spaced out from each other.

Once your Christian friends disappear from the face of the Earth . . . I'd start worrying.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 When the Bengals with the superbowl.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Maybe a rain of fire...outside of that it would be just another day
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 When David Lee Roth actually gets back together with Van Halen for a mediocre reunion tour.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 When David Lee Roth actually gets back together with Van Halen for a mediocre reunion tour. I'd mark out for that, and him and Sammy doing some duets together. The Signs for the end: I rule a powerful country I prove that there is a Cthulhu and make use of him I prove that there is a Triforce and make use of that Vince McMahon does all of the above things The XFL comes out of nowhere and buys the NFL Typical biblical crap
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 When I see blood in the moon.....oh wait, that's called a Lunar Eclipse. Seriously, who knows, because it all depends by means the world is going to end. Nuclear war would be a good sign. Or if millions of people suddenly dissapeared, I'd say it would time to get down on my knees and start praying.
The Dames Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 In all seriousness, Nuclear War Some Independence Day or Armaggedon Shit Women giving birth to weird animals at the same time Sauron regaining the Ring of Power. Dames
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 On 9-11, after more and more stuff kept happening, I started to wonder if it was the beginning of the end.

Once your Christian friends disappear from the face of the Earth . . . I'd start worrying. I'm a Christian, and I don't even believe in the so-called "rapture". People are not going to just up and be gone.
Guest WhenDanSaysJump Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 On 9-11, after more and more stuff kept happening, I started to wonder if it was the beginning of the end. Good, so it wasn't just me. There I was sat in an office in the UK, having heard a rumour that there were now planes headed for London, surrounded by attractive women, and sick as this may seem, I was just thinking that I absolutely HAD to get some before it all went nuclear and we were wiped off the face of the planet.

Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 At the time I worked in San Francisco and had to cross a major bridge to get back home. They were evacuating the downtown offices and rumor had it the bridges and the financial district were targets and planes headed into the city would be used. I remember crossing the bridge feeling like any minute could be my last, hoping to see my wife and kids again.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Actually, 9/11 made me think the end was potentially on the way as well. Did the same for a buddy of mine. I don't think it was that uncommon. I'll assume the world is going to end when I hear that the bombs are in the air. Or when completely impossible stuff starts happening everywhere. When everything gets crazy-go-nuts, then I'm gonna worry.
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 I remember the weeks following sept. 11th the news out here in CA said the Bay and Golden Gate bridges were potential targets. So my grandmother was afraid for my Uncle who crosses the bay bridge for work everyday.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Jesus (or whoever your God is) coming down and saying, "I just flew in from heaven, and boy are my arms tired"...
