Early 90's WCW Mid card fueds

I can vaguely remember Rick Steiner fueding with Dick Murdoch (circa 91) about what I can't recall, but the WCW built up the big blowoff match between the 2 to air on the Main Event (weekly program) and the day the match was to air, something happened and it didn't occur, and to make up for it, WCW had no jobber matches on the show (which was the norm) and instead had the lower mid carders face off (Big Josh vs One Man Gang I know happened)...Anyways anyone remember this fued or anything about the match being canceled?

I remember that.......it was billed a s amcth up of 2 tough guys or bad asses......If i recall correctly Dick Murdoch jumped Rick Steiner that day in the parking lot or something and thats why the match never happened.

Murdoch (with Dic Slater, The Hardliners) injured Scott Steiner @ The Clash (Knocksville? I think that was the name) after their match with Chono and Hase...so Rick got pushed in singles (culminating with his title match vs Luger) but he first had to settle the score with the Hardliners...He had various singles matches with them, but I THINK that the blow off to that was Steiner and Sting vs The Hardliners...
