Killings upset with TNA

-A lot of people have been asking him why he hasn't been on NWA-TNA shows lately, and he is just as clueless as everyone else. He feels his treatment in TNA has been "kinda shitty" and he feels like it is almost a rerun of his first stint in WWE. He said that all a talented person like himself can really do is keep doing what he has been doing.

 

-Killings expressed interested in returning to WWE if they made him the right offer or right contract. He felt it was "bullshit" excuse they gave for releasing him which was that they had no creative ideas for him since Road Dogg got released. He said other than being misused, he thought WWE was a great company and he felt like it was a family there.

 

Also...

 

-Killings went on to talk about other projects he is working on besides wrestling. He now has his own record label called "K-Krush Enterprises" and he just had his first record finished. The album, entitled "The Introduction," is pretty much the story of his career. The album tells the story of him getting into wrestling, being trained, paying his dues on the indy circuit, going to the WWE, and up to the point where he's at right now. He loves being able to write and produce all of his own songs. Killings and his agent Paul are working on a website and setting concerts, and the album will have elements of both Rock and Hip-Hop.

 

-He said that he has love for both music and wrestling, and he will always be a part of the business either as a wrestler or a fan. One thing he likes about music compared to wrestling is that he has more overall control over what he is doing.

 

-Killings wouldn't mind having a freestyling match with John Cena, but he would rather write his own music because you can't win a grammy freestyling. He also pointed out that he was the one who brought freestyling into wrestling.

 

 

I don't understand why TNA has basically stopped using Killings. He was their original break out star, his quest for the NWA title is still the most compelling storyline they've had, and it just all stopped. Interesting to note that when he was champ he basically said fuck the WWE and that he wouldn't want to return, while now he feels like he'd take an offer to come back. TNA needs to start using Killings!

It's just silly for TNA to have one of their biggest stars off the show for no apparent reason week after week. After Raven/Jarrett finishes he should come back and feud with one of them, hopefully with Mabel nowhere to be seen.

Whats wrong with Killings rapping? I can understand Oscar, but Killings is pretty good. Oh, and I don't blame him one bit, they are booking him horribly right now.

Killings is pretty good and it pisses the crowd off something aweful...so I have no problem with him rapping to the ring.

With all the influx of talent into TNA some people are bound to get a little lost in the shuffle, especially with only 4 shows a month.

 

Ron Killings is not someone who should be lost in the TNA shuffle.

The past week or so, I've been watching my TNA tapes. Truth had some really fucking GOOD matches. Not a single match he was involved in was bad. The lowest rated one, IMO, was **1/2, which is really damn good.

If they aren't putting AJ back in the world title hunt after Raven/Jarrett closes, why not a Truth vs. AJ feud? They're both tweeners, just decide who plays what role and you're set.

There is no question that Killings should be on every Wednsday night in a featured position. The thing is he needs to improve on his in ring work. Although that isn't going to happen with him not wrestling on TV at all. Instead of surprises every week that really don't deliver all that much they should feature Killings in some sort of way. It would be a much better way to build up their home grown talent. You think they would be behind a guy like this and Styles before they would stick somebody like D-Lo Brown into a major feud (and I like D-Lo) . This is a guy who has helped the promotion get to where it is and has been with them since the start. He should be rewarded instead of being shit on.

There are too many good indy workers and WWE outcasts out there for TNA. I never thought much of Killings in the first place. But if you're going to put the belt on a guy you should think how to book him in the future.

I'd much prefer them just feuding NOW, gives them both purpose and a reason to be out there. This could be a hot program the likes of Raven-JJ and Red-Kash had or has been if done right. Have them both start as tweeners as they are now, and build it slowly that one guy turns more in the feud, and then by the end of it all things turn out then that they actually do team up following the feud.

 

BTW, for Killings to piss on the TNA run totally just because he hasnt been used in a few weeks is kind of lame, IMO. I agree totally that he hasnt been used right lately, but for the most part he's been used strong. To say he wants to go back to WWE.........well lets just say this much, finances aside, why the fuck would any worker thats not really established (EX: Goldturd) want to go there right now?

Killings is a fantastic worker who puts on great matches. In my opinion, TNA has a wealth of talent that they have brought in through their "surprise appearances", such as Raven, D-Lo, etc. Now, it's time to focus on what they have because it's clear that as far as a wrestling perspective is concerned, they put on much better shows than what our friendly northern based wrestling promotion is doing right now.
