Now that Brock, Cena, Shelton, etc... are in WWE..

I remember all of the talk once upon a time, about all of these OVW guys who were so great and would just change Pro. Wrestling. We had Brock, Prototype, Shelton, Hass, Rico, The Island Boys, and various others that everyone would talk about, and now, well, they are all here on WWE TV. I haven't heard anyone talk about OVW or the propects of the future who will save Pro. Wrestling lately, and I was just wondering who all is down there that is even close to come up.

Hell, should anyone even be brought up anytime soon, seeing how so many have come up in the last year?

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

Well there's always Matt Morgan, Nova, Nick Dinsmore, Rob Conway, Doug Basham, and Orlando Jordan that are there.

Should the WWE decide to pull another new tag team (that isn't nostaligic) out from no where, I see Dinsmore & Conway making a jump. As they are a tag team if I'm not mistaken.

Should the WWE decide that Hurricane needs an evil comic book villian, I'm quite sure that Nova can fill the role.

As for Morgan, he's a hoss if I'm not mistaken, so I'm assuming that he'll be arriving shortly. As SD needs more hosses to disrupt the actual talent (hey, I'm not saying Matt's got none, but haven't heard he has much).

Should the WWE need to give Triple H another stable with a new guy in it, I expect Doug Basham to make an appearance as HHH's new lackey.

As for Orlando Jordan... Not sure. But the WWE will probably give him something to do. Oh, I know. Be like the "fan turned into wrestler but aslo MFer" gimmick is what he'll get.

Yah... Screwed up ideas. But stuff that the WWE would seem likely to pull.

Wasn't Doug Basham a WCW jobber 6 years ago?

*shrugs* Wouldn't know. I was just turned smark two years back during the beginning of the HHH-Steph era.

I'm sure the WWE can find another bunch of hosses and fat samoans to put in OVW for a few months, you can never have enough Batista'a and 3MW's ready to shove down our throats.

I could see Doug Basham coming up. When I saw him on Velocity he was pretty good. He showed nice little heel tactics. He was good with the little things.

With some more coaching and a good gimmick I could see him moving up to the WWE.

Obviously, Rene Dupree and Sylvan Grenier are due to show up any time now.

And Damaja was supposed to be up for the Rumble, if anyone remembers the story on that. But who knows if WWE were actually intending to pull the trigger on it, with plans changing at some point down the line, which led to Damaja having his shot taken away.

And Island Boys were HWA. But they were still WWE developmentals, so it's really all the same thing.

Exactly, they had HWA at the time along with OVW.

Nova will probably wind up showing up down the road.

Let us not forget that they fired Ron Waterman. I can picture the thinking now: "Who needs that guy? We have the real SCOTT STEINER instead!"

Grumble grumble.

They were a tag team, but Conway turned heel and joined Basham's Revolution stable. Then again, that wouldn't necessarily stop the WWE from bringing them in as a team. If I'm not mistaken, their tag team name was "The Lords of the Ring."

Is Nova back down in OVW? He had a few Velocity appearances not too long ago, but I haven't seen that he's had any matches since then.

I, too, liked what I've seen from Basham in his few Velocity matches. I wouldn't mind seeing him get called up full-time.

I've been hearing that the next guys to be called up are NOVA and DOUG BASHAM......Basham is a good brawler that's got a pretty good look, and Nova.......well, for christ sake he invented every move in the book!

Sadly the next batch of development guys won't make the same impact as the current batch.

Nova has had a few Velocity matches, but when he gets called up he'll probably have a new look and outfit and it wouldn't be acknowledged he was ever on WWE TV before.

Just like Redd Dogg and Benjamin.

Is Lance Cade with OVW? If so, I hope he's called up. He's a hometown boy.

Damaja,Dinsmore, Conway, and Basham are damn good wrestlers. Especially Dinsmore and Basham. Though, with our luck theyll bring those four guys up as a gay stable or something
