Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 25, 2003 Let me explain something. SPIDERPOET is not a man. It is not a thing. SPIDERPOET is a FORCE. A POWER. Beyond all understanding and comprehension. I am merely it's ambassador. It's "manifest" if you will. SPIDERPOET can easily handle any "Species". Best deal. Well, it really depends. Is it like the Crow, where the force of SpiderPoet is firmly anchored to SpiderPoet the man? If so, I'd have to give the edge to Sil once again, because her DNA's been on like Mars (though I really don't want to bring the disgraceful Species 2 into this) and floating through outer-space and such for thousands of years. True, she's no awe-inspiring force, but her DNA can "manifest" itself really fast, especially since, when untethered and with a bottle of hair-dye, she can seduce any man and have a baby in like, twenty minutes or less. She can overrun any force.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Isn't worshipping yourself against the bible SP? I would think worshipping yourself would fall under the whole false idol catergory.

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Caboose nailed it. Much like the almost as awesome power as Goldberg or The Ultimate Warrior, SPIDERPOET is an undefinable force of pure greatness. It achieves this by assimilating all other great forces into itself and growing. Including this "SPECIES" you speak of. She is nothing. She is ONE with the POET. Ultimate Warrior is ONE with the POET. SPIDERPOET is not greater than God, just greater than everything else.

But in the movie, when the "species" was assimilated with human beings, it created mankind's one (and only?) great predator. If what you say is true and that raw power and energy is also assimilated with the Poet AND the Ultimate Warrior... Whoa. ::erases "Piss off SpiderPoet and Incur Its Power" from "To Do" list::

Guest caboose Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Norton > Hannibal Lecter > SpiderPoet > Raven > Species > Stacy You've got it wrong, it's: Caboose powered by POET~! > SpiderPoet > Caboose > Everything Else

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 26, 2003 (edited) The Power of the Poet makes it possible. And Raven? Norton? Lecter? SPIDERPOET is there, too. Edited April 26, 2003 by SpiderPoet

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 26, 2003 Considering the state of things in the OAOAST right now, it wouldn't be a fair fight. Not with Warzone rules in effect.
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted April 27, 2003 what Ed Norton is this? Is this just regular Ed Norton or is it Fight Club Ed Norton with the Space Monkeys with him?
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 27, 2003 ...am I the only one to post a cool picture? 'Fraid so. Whoah whoah whoah! Norton...Raven...Stacy....Hannibal... not cool?!?!?! Aw HELL no! Norton > Hannibal Lecter > SpiderPoet > Raven > Species > Stacy Thus, the complete list of "Greater Than's". Whoops. I'd actually forgotten about those pics, heh. But let's look at this logistically... (NOTE: I haven't seen Red Dragon!...or Hannibal for that matter) Hannibal Lecter may have been caught once, but he outwitted the FBI, escaped, and managed to help the FBI outwit and shut down his detractors/copycats. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Edward Norton couldn't even save his wife (Se7en). Hell, he couldn't even keep his own detractor, himself in check (Fight Club)... even I can do that! So... if you want to go with that... SpiderPoet (infused with the power of Raven and Species) > Hannibal Lecter (only because he's stubborn and won't allow himself to merge with the Poet) > Edward Norton (though he does have an awesome name, and is quite the handsome fellow and actor) > Stacy Keibler
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 27, 2003 If Lecter would become One with the Poet, he'd never be caught.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 27, 2003 Well, unless the officer coming after him was strong in SPIDERPOET. Here's my question though... would SpiderPoet act against itself? I'm not really familiar enough with it to know if it would. Wouldn't it be for the better good, even if the officer loses his job/integrity because of it, to not act against its fellow Po? Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted April 28, 2003 dude, Edward Norton wasn't in Se7en, Brad Pitt was.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted April 28, 2003 I think SpiderPoet could take Norton- It'd be a close fight though. SP's OAOAST experience would surely help him
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 29, 2003 dude, Edward Norton wasn't in Se7en, Brad Pitt was. Oh shit. That's right. How could I have made such a glaring error? Sigh... where's Sil? I need to get laid-a-cide.
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Flow, it's a mystery. I'm willing to bet, however, that the Po would in fact go after one of it's own if it sensed a lack of pure Po-ocity. That being, if the other Poetic was not as strong in the Po as the other. Then it could assimilate the good Po from the weaker Poetic and become even more powerful. FROM ITSELF. It's strange but it works. And yes. Yes I could take Edward Norton. I'd crush his face like a pea with my big, fat hands.
