Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 SF Took someone from Stanford.. Stanford has a football team..? Stanford always has players drafted. In Baseball and Basketball.. But football? Im just kidding... I thought Stanford went Div III after Elway graduated.... OH WAIT! Wasn't Touchdown Tommy (RB from a few years ago) from Stanford? What a bust that was for...Cleveland, maybe???
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I hear LJ to KC..?? Lets see.. Fuck no. They have Priest Holmes. They don't need THAT much insurance.
Guest the pinjockey Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 They are really worried about Holmes I think. Bo Jackson similarities has everyone a little paranoid.
Bored Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 OH WAIT! Wasn't Touchdown Tommy (RB from a few years ago) from Stanford? What a bust that was for...Cleveland, maybe??? Ya he was one of the guys who's stock went up huge during workouts and he was a bust. Seems like that happens to a lot of guys who's stock suddenly rises *cough* Kyle Boller *cough*.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I hear LJ to KC..?? Lets see.. Fuck no. They have Priest Holmes. They don't need THAT much insurance. Okay, I might have been wrong.
Guest the pinjockey Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 *marks out for Touchdown Tommy Vardell reference*
Bored Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I hear LJ to KC..?? Lets see.. Fuck no. They have Priest Holmes. They don't need THAT much insurance. Okay, I might have been wrong. Well they said something about Holmes injury problems and I seem to remember a couple of months back that there was word that Priest Holmes might holdout for the entire year for a new contract.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Why didn't the Bills take Larry Johnson?
Guest El Satanico Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I hear LJ to KC..?? Lets see.. Fuck no. They have Priest Holmes. They don't need THAT much insurance. Okay, I might have been wrong. might have been? nooo you were dead wrong...deeeeaaad wroooong
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 And KC goes for LJ. I guess they need the insurance for Priest. Well, I wonder if Oakland is willing to reach for Suggs or Fargas?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 (edited) Yep. LJ to KC. I dont think the Raiders take Suggs. The Raiders would have taken Willis cause he would have needed to sit out a year, and the Raiders don't need a RB this year. Edited April 26, 2003 by MarvinisaLunatic
Guest DawnBTVS Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I wonder if Larry Johnson's gonna sue Larry Johnson for having the same name *anybody who catches that reference rules*
Gert T Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Mort: "This is going to be a nasty negotiation with Kevin Williams, no.7 or no.9" No shit. Is there anyway Williams is not the last 1st round pick not signed, and for the second year in a row for the Vikings?
Bored Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I wonder if Larry Johnson's gonna sue Larry Johnson for having the same name *anybody who catches that reference rules* Kareem Abdul-Jabar...yes I rule...or have no life.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 (edited) LJ will be another Penn State rb bust if he's thrust into the starting slot this season. He may be able to break the Penn State rb curse if he gets to sit behind Priest. Edited April 26, 2003 by El Satanico
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Terrell Suggs Thats pretty sweet lookin..
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 What's been the biggest swerve so far?
Guest the pinjockey Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 The Saints trading up and not taking a CB has to be the top swerve.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 What's been the biggest swerve so far? the Minnesota situation
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Probably the Cards back-to-back mistakes.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I like Ty Warren's pic. Copycat! I've posted them all except the one Dawn posted.
Guest DawnBTVS Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Good news for Pats fans...Boss Bailey's still available as is EJ Henderson(I'm surprised neither have been taken yet)
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 The Minnesota situation wasn't really a swerve, it was just a blunder.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 The Saints trading up and not taking a CB has to be the top swerve. If the Saints didn't get Newman, they didn't want any other CB, I think
Guest Flyboy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 What's the order of Round 2 before all these crazy trades and such?
Guest El Satanico Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Good news for Pats fans...Boss Bailey's still available as is EJ Henderson(I'm surprised neither have been taken yet) The linebacker position just isn't considered that important. Unless there are some "can't miss" players, linebackers don't get much action in the first round.
