Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 X is a little bland for me. As far as the title goes I think he should have been a ways from it.

Guest bob_barron Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 He lost to Samoa Joe and was listed as "just missing" the rankings
Chunk Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 He lost to Samoa Joe and was listed as "just missing" the rankings So he goes from having a title shot to not even making the top 5? ChUnK!
Guest bob_barron Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Daniels moved in as a result of his two wins at the last show so someone had to be bumped off
Guest Tim Cooke Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Williams is not in the top 5 rankings for 2 reasons. 1- He had his title shot after being the #1 contender so he returns to the bottom of the pack. It's simple. If ROH was following a true NWA booking scheme, he would be listed as being eligible for a return match, which would most likely end in a DQ. 2- He is making his first tour of NOAH starting 5/9 until 6/6 so he will miss the 5/31 show and his bookings with NOAH will probably remain constant as they need Gajin talent badly. If thats like a concrete rule that applies to everyone, then I can understand it. Otherwise, it just seems a little strange to fall from 2 to outside the top 5. ChUnK!
